摘要: Articles comprising first and second coextruded polymeric nettings are described. The articles comprise a plurality of pairs of first segments comprising a first material. Adjacent first segments are joined together via a second segments comprising second material, wherein the second segments extend past the first major surface of each first adjacent segments. The articles further include an adhesive on at least one of the first or second major surfaces of the first segment. The first segments, second segments, and third material each extend continuously for at least 5 mm in the machine direction, and the first and second materials of adjacent pairs are periodically bonded together in the machine direction. A portion of some of the first segments of the first coextruded polymeric netting are engaged between some of the adjacent first segments of the second coextruded polymeric netting.

摘要: A rotary drive nozzle die machine for an extruder includes a rotatable nozzle having first and second axial ends and an opening at the second end, a compression head for directing a food material to the nozzle, and a drive assembly including a tubular drive sleeve configured to rotate the an axially removable nozzle. A housing is provided in which the nozzle rotates, and includes an annular recess. A wire ring coaxially surrounds the nozzle and provides a snap-fit connection with the housing such that relative axial movement of the nozzle and housing is prevented while allowing rotary movement. A rotary seal is between the nozzle and housing, and includes one or more annular washers and an annular O-ring surrounding the rotatable nozzle and located radially between opposed facing annular surfaces of the recess and the nozzle. A first washer contacts an axially outwardly facing surface of the annular recess.

摘要: A nozzle, a tundish arrangement used for the production of granulated material, and a method and apparatus for the production of a granulated material with an improved size distribution are provided. The grain size and grain size distribution is controlled by a nozzle having a specific design. The nozzle comprises an upper inlet opening, sidewalls forming a channel, a bottom and at least one outlet opening or at least one row of outlet openings at the lower end of the channel. The outlet opening(s) in the channel have a size of at least 5 mm in the smallest dimension. A cross sectional area of the channel at the inlet AC is at least 3 times bigger than the total area of the outlet openings AT.

摘要: A process for extruding a divided conduit comprising obtaining an extrusion die head, inserting a strip-shaped substrate into the extrusion die head such that the strip shaped substrate is located within the tip gap and extends at least partially out of the tip gap such that the longitudinal edges are located in the die gap, and flowing molten polymer through die gap, encapsulating the longitudinal edges of the strip-shaped substrate in molten polymer. The extrusion die head contains a tip region and a bushing. The tip region contains at least 2 tips separated by a tip gap. The bushing extends around the tip region and the distance between the tip region and the inner surface of the bushing is defined to be the die gap and the die gap varies around the bushing.

摘要: An extrusion nozzle for making tubular preforms has a mandrel extending along a vertical axis, an annular and stationary nozzle body spacedly radially surrounding the mandrel, and a holding ring having an upper end axially slidable in the nozzle body, braced axially downwardly against the nozzle body, and having a lower end spaced radially inward from shiftable limitedly radially relative to the nozzle body. A nozzle ring has an upper end axially slidable in the holding ring, is braced axially downwardly against the nozzle body, and has a radially deflectable lower end forming an annular extrusion gap with the mandrel. A first positioner engages the lower end of nozzle ring and is operable to radially deflect this lower end. A second positioner engages radially with the lower end of the holding ring or with the nozzle ring for radially deflecting same.

摘要: A nozzle is provided for controlling the flow of extruded material, such as e.g., rubber material, from an extrusion machine. Movable pins are positioned into the path of material flow through an internal cavity. The pins are arranged across the path of flow upstream of the extrusion die. By moving the pins in and out, the flow of material through the cavity can be controlled at different locations across the width of the path of flow to the die. Manual and automatic controls can be provided for determining the position of the pins and thereby controlling the flow.

摘要: An annular co-extrusion die for extruding multi-layer tubular plastic film has inner die mandrels stacked one upon another. Each die mandrel has a generally U-shaped cross-section with side walls extending substantially in parallel with the longitudinal axis of the die. The outer surfaces of the die side walls each have a series of helical shaped grooves formed therein. An annular outer die member surrounds the first inner die mandrel and the inner surface of the outer member and the outer surface of the first inner die mandrel form a longitudinally extending annular extrusion passage. Additional longitudinally extending annular extrusion passages are formed between outer and inner surfaces of nesting inner die mandrels.
