A structure comprising an indented female blow-molded connector having a first wall having a top surface and a thickness, with the first wall surrounding an opening. At least one inner wall extends substantially perpendicular to the first wall and borders the opening. At least one rib is formed in the inner wall. A bottom wall is joined to the inner wall and the distance from the rib to the top surface is greater than the thickness of the first wall. The structure further comprising a male connector having a contact edge, such that when positioned inside the indented female blow-molded connector, the contact edge releasably engages the at least one rib.

The openings of these grooves are narrower than the inside part of the grooves. If the groove opening is sufficiently narrow e.g 1mm or less, unwanted liquid oozing out of the packed meat is trapped in these grooves (11) and such separated from the meat and kept out of sight of a potential buyer.

    摘要: A device for producing hollow, undercut projections on a packing case of thermoplastic sheet material in a deep drawing mold which comprises at least one projecting stem at whose free end a core having a laterally projecting nose may be pivoted around a transverse pin and is elastically supported against the action of a spring. The stem and core are covered by the heated plastic sheet during the deep drawing process to provide the undercut projection, and during the removal of the finished packing case the core is pivoted around its pin to a position in which its laterally projecting nose releases the undercut part of the projection on the packing. The hollow undercut projections on the packing case thus produced are hook shaped and a hollow shaft projecting from one of the packing halves changes to a hollow projection extending almost vertically from the shaft and in the locked position this projection intermeshed with a similar projection of a hollow shaft on the other packing half. Spacer projections are provided on the top side of each packing case half to abut with each other when the packing case is closed and they are in part undercut to prevent an intermeshing when the packing cases are slacked together.

    摘要: In a mold comprising separable mold parts, one of the mold parts is formed with an elongated first slot opening into the mold cavity and a similarly elongated second slot in the bottom of the first slot and of narrower width than the first slot. A substantially hard non-deformable stiffening member is removably held in the second slot with a free edge projecting into the mold cavity, and a deformable profile strip of U-shaped cross-section is supported on this member with its closed maximum width portion extending across the free edge of said member within the mold cavity and with its legs received in the first slot on opposite sides of said member. When an article is then formed in the mold cavity and stripped from the mold, it withdraws both profile strip and the stiffening member from the respective slots, whereupon removal of the stiffening member from the deformable profile strip allows substantial deformability of the profile strip into the space formerly occupied by the stiffening member so that the profile strip may then be withdrawn through the narrow open side of the undercut slot formed by it in the article.
