    摘要: The multi-layer bamboo plywood with high work strength isn't liable to warp, characterized in that said plywood is composed of bamboo strips or strip-shaped bamboo compositing materials that are superposed and glued one with respect to another, the side of said plywood is provided with a through hole running through the plywood perpendicular to said side, tensioned wires with high tenacity and elasticity are provided within said through hole and a fastening assembly is disposed at the end of said wires. The advantages of this invention consist in high strength, excellent abrasion resistance and being not liable to warp, which contribute to flat connection in series and long service life. Said bamboo plywood is a perfect substitute for lumber, and the wide use thereof will remarkably save lumber and thereby protect the forest resources.

The one or more collars fit over an end and/or along a length of the rod that gets inserted first into the drilled hole. The one or more collars may include splines or other features extending from a base of the collar. The features contact walls of the drilled hole to center the rod in the hole, while at the same time allowing fluid such as glue to pass around the collar as the collar and rod are inserted into the hole.

The hole making device comprises a linear guide assembly including at least one guiding rod, a first drill motor slidably mounted on the guiding rod of the linear guide assembly, a first fixed wood guiding sidewall non-movably mounted to the linear guide assembly and a second wood guiding sidewall mounted to the linear guide assembly. The first drill motor is provided with a first drill chuck driven by the first drill motor for drilling a hole in the solid wood strip. The first and second wood guiding sidewalls define a wood guiding channel therebetween for supporting the solid wood strip.
