    摘要: A portable machining apparatus includes a motor, an output shaft extending in an axial direction and configured to be rotated by a rotational driving force of the motor, a tool accessory configured to perform an eccentric circular motion in response to the rotation of the output shaft, a dust collection fan fixed to the output shaft so as to circumferentially surround the output shaft, a motor cooling fan configured to be rotated by the rotational driving force of the motor, and a balancer attached to at least one fan of the dust collection fan and the motor cooling fan. A flow passage is formed so as to radially outward exhaust air flowing in the axial direction toward the at least one fan at a circumferential position between an edge portion opposite from the balancer in the axial direction and the balancer at which position the balancer is attached.

    摘要: A pole sander is provided including an elongate body including a passageway for passage of air, an electric motor, and a sanding head attached via a pivot mechanism to a first end of the elongate body. The sanding head includes a hood including a plate and a sidewall to form a chamber, an output spindle projecting from the hood and rotatably driven by the electric motor, and a tubular passage including a first end forming an opening and a second end coupled to an aperture formed through the plate. A flexible pipe is disposed between the passageway at the first end of the elongate body and the opening of the tubular passage to fluidly connect the passageway to the chamber. The tubular passage is oriented at least partially around a portion of the output spindle in a turning direction of the output spindle and extending angularly from the plate.

    摘要: A filter arrangement for filtering dust-laden air generated by a hand-guided power tool having a motor features a filter cartridge having a hollow casing with a longitudinal extension along a longitudinal axis, a hollow filter element located inside the hollow casing, having a longitudinal extension along the longitudinal axis, an air inlet port in the hollow casing, pneumatically connected to the power tool to allow the dust-laden air generated by the power tool to flow into the hollow casing, and an air outlet port in the hollow casing, to allow filtered air to leave the filter cartridge. An external chamber of the filter cartridge is formed between the hollow casing and the hollow filter element. An internal chamber is formed inside the hollow filter element. The internal chamber is closed by a conical head portion at a first end of the internal chamber facing towards the air inlet port. The external chamber is in pneumatic connection with the air inlet port and the internal chamber at a second end opposite to the first end is in pneumatic connection with the air outlet port. The filter arrangement includes an active airflow generating device being in pneumatic connection with the air outlet port and the internal chamber of the filter cartridge in order to generate or support the airflow through the filter cartridge.

The edge sharpener includes an abrasive grinding wheel, a belt driven drive train that connects the electric motor and the grinding wheel drive mechanism and decreases the grinding wheel's speed of rotation relative to the rotational speed of the motor, a grinding wheel mount allowing the operator to select and use grinding wheels of different grits and materials and grinding wheel control mechanisms allowing the operator to control the cut depth and the grinding wheel angles relative to the longitudinal and transverse planes of the ski edge surface to be sharpened. This configuration allows the operator to repeatedly sharpen a ski edge at a specific and chosen angle with a specific and chosen surface finish. Other features include, position lockdown devices being part of each of the control mechanisms and a vacuum system to capture residue from the grinding operation.
