An automatic material changing and welding system for stamping materials includes a welding transfer sliding table and a welding platform. The automatic material changing device further includes a feeding system. The feeding system includes a double-head uncoiling machine, an automatic feeding machine and a flattening machine. The automatic material changing device is used for automatic feeding for a stamping machine. The system triggers a material changing signal through a sensor to control and integrate the welding transfer sliding table and the welding platform to act to execute a welding procedure, so that the stamping materials are in welding connection with new and old coiled materials through a welding connection plate to realize continuous production operation of an automated stamping production line.

A spot welding method of spot welding a workpiece including a first panel, a second panel, a third panel, and a fourth panel stacked in sequence includes: conducting indirect spot welding for the first panel and the second panel to form a first weld zone where the first panel is joined to the second panel; conducting indirect spot welding for the third panel and the fourth panel to form a second weld zone where the third panel is joined to the fourth panel; and, after forming the first weld zone and the second weld zone, conducting direct spot welding for the workpiece to form a third weld zone where the second panel is joined to the third panel.

The electric resistance welded steel pipe includes a steel pipe portion with a seam portion, which is formed by electric resistance welding, and a coating portion of zinc phosphate. The coating portion covers at least an outer surface side of the steel pipe portion. A part of the coating portion that is immediately above the seam portion forms a color difference portion that has a width W along a pipe circumferential direction of greater than or equal to 0.1 times a wall thickness of the pipe and less than or equal to the wall thickness of the pipe. The color difference portion has a visually identifiable color difference from the other parts of the coating portion.

An electric spot welding head for a multi-axis industrial robot that has a compact configuration, particularly in a longitudinal direction that goes from the end of the head for the attachment to the robot wrist towards the welding electrodes. This result is achieved primarily by the fact that the electrical transformer mounted on the head has its output connected to the electrode-holding arms arranged, respectively, on a front wall of the body of the transformer and on an end wall of the body of the transformer, for the connection to the electrode-holding arms of the head. The structure of the welding head is completely covered by a casing having a rear opening for connection to the robot wrist and a front opening from which the electrode arms of the welding head protrude.

A welded state monitoring system according to an aspect of the present invention is a welded state monitoring system used for plasma shielded electric resistance welding in which electric resistance welding is performed while irradiating a weld zone of a steel sheet with plasma, and is provided with a plasma irradiation device which irradiates the weld zone with plasma, a first image capturing device which captures an image of the weld zone from above and has an image sensor capable of detecting light having a wavelength of 850 nm or more, a first wavelength region limiting device which limits light incident on the first image capturing device to a wavelength region of 850 nm or more, and an image processing device which subjects the image captured by the first image capturing device to image processing and analyzes the welded state of the weld zone thereby being able to analyze the welded state without being affected by the plasma.
