    摘要: The invention relates to a toothing processing machine comprising a machine frame and a spindle carrier having a first spindle. The spindle comprises a first spindle housing and a first spindle shaft, which is arranged in the first spindle housing such that it can rotate about a first spindle axis, and a free end for receiving a work piece or a tool. A second spindle is also provided having a second spindle housing and a second spindle shaft for receiving a tool or work piece, wherein the second spindle shaft is mounted in the second spindle housing such that it can rotate about a second spindle axis. In addition, at least one wall of the machine frame forms a part of the casing of a closable working chamber, in which the work piece can be processed and which can be closed in order to prevent the release of a material removal, a processing liquid and/or a processing mist from the working chamber into other machine regions or to the outside. The spindle carrier is also arranged on the machine frame such that it can move in the direction of the first spindle axis. In addition, the closable working chamber includes the free end of the first spindle shaft and at least sections of the second spindle shaft. According to the invention, the toothing processing machine comprises a bellows, securely connected to the spindle carrier on a first side and to the at least one wall of the machine frame on a second side, wherein the bellows borders the closable working chamber at at least one point in such a way that a part of the spindle carrier is permanently positioned outside of the working chamber. In this way, the bellows is able to commence a relative movement in the direction of the first spindle axis between the spindle carrier and the machine frame, via a moving apart and together.

    摘要: In a process for finishing the hardened teeth of a bevel gear wheel by grinding after hardening, the ground teeth are fine- honed, this procedure being carried out in the same chucking as the preceding grinding. A machine especially suitable for this procedure has a chucking device for the bevel gear wheel (12) and a double machining head for mounting two machining tools, namely a grinding wheel (26) and a honing wheel (28). The bevel gear wheel (12) to be machined is preferably a pinion, and accordingly the honing wheel (28) is a bevel gear-type machining tool. Pairing the ground and honed pinion (12) with a bevel gear which has been only ground results in a good noise standard, and the lapping required for hypoid gears manufactured in the traditional way, with its associated drawbacks, is unnecessary.

In order to avoid damage to the tool caused by remaining burrs or the like in the tooth system of the workpiece (W), a twin tool with axially spaced similar tools is utilized, individual ones of the similar tools are used one after the other. The first tool removes thereby first the remaining burrs and the like and the second tool performs thereafter the actual precision working.

    摘要: A tool spindle for a honing machine includes a bowl-shaped holder having a circumferential peripheral wall connected to a bottom part. The bowl-shaped holder is configured to hold a honing ring on an inside of the bowl-shaped holder. At least one expansion element is formed on the inside of the bowl-shaped holder along an inner surface of the circumferential peripheral wall. The at least one expansion element radially clamps and centers the honing ring inside the bowl-shaped holder. A hydraulic chamber is disposed in the bottom part of the bowl-shaped holder. At least one hydraulic line is connecting in fluid communication the at least one expansion element and the hydraulic chamber. A single adjustment element is movable in relation to the bottom part of the bowl-shaped holder, where the single adjustment element is in fluid communication with the hydraulic chamber.

    摘要: A honing machine includes a machine housing enclosing a workpiece spindle and a tool spindle. The workpiece spindle includes a spindle collar with a spindle head configured to hold a workpiece. The tool spindle includes a cup-shaped holder with a honing ring located on an inside of the cup shaped holder. An operating tank is also located within the machine housing, where the operating tank surrounds the tool spindle in an oil-tight manner. The operating tank includes a panel with a recess, where the workpiece spindle is configured to insert the spindle head through the recess and form a first oil-tight seal between the recess and the spindle collar. The panel is moveable relative to the operating tank and tool spindle when the panel is carried along by the workpiece spindle during a feed motion. A second oil-tight seal is formed between the panel and the operating tank.

    摘要: A method for shaving and shave grinding tooth flanks of cylindrical workpiece gear wheels, especially, flank-line modified gear wheels, and for profiling tools needed for shave-grinding cylindrical workpiece gear wheels. During the machining of gear wheels, certain areas of the gear wheel need to be machined more so than other areas, meaning that some areas require more material to be removed than other areas. As a result, certain areas of the tool are not uniformly worn, but rather the area of the tool which removes the most material is worn more quickly than other areas of the tool. Similarly, if certain areas of the gear wheel are harder than other areas, the tool performing the actual machining will wear at a corresponding rate. The present invention avoids such non-uniform wear by providing greater areas of cutting surface on the tool performing the actual machining in the positions which are required to remove the most material, or which are required to machine the hardest surfaces of the workpiece.
