    摘要: There is a need for better cooling solutions for the ever-increasing thermal density of computing systems. This is solved by providing a radiator (100) for a liquid cooling system for cooling a computing unit, the radiator comprising: —a first manifold (101) and a second manifold (102) having among them two liquid openings (103, 104) for connecting the radiator in a liquid loop, —channels (110) extending between the first manifold (101) and the second manifold (102) and providing parallel liquid paths between the manifolds (101, 102), —fin layers (130) sandwiched between sets of neighbouring channels (110) and extending between the first manifold (101) and the second manifold (102), —fastening means (120) for attaching a fan (10) to the radiator (100) in a predetermined position, determining a ring-shaped high-pressure zone (142) corresponding to an outer area of a fan radius (122) of an attached fan, where —at least one fin layer has a low-density section placed away from the high-pressure zone, and a high-density section being located in the high-pressure zone and having a higher fin density than the low-density section, —the density of the group of fin layers thereby varies both along the channels but also transverse of each channel, resulting in two-dimensional density variations across the radiator surface, sections of fins to be positioned in front of the ring-shaped high-pressure zone has a higher density than the section of fins away from the ring-shaped high-pressure zone.

    摘要: A heat exchanger and a method of manufacturing the same are provided. With the method, a tube may be inserted into a through hole formed in at least one fin coated with a filler metal, and the tube and a fin collar of the at least one fin may be joined through the filler metal by a brazing processing. A flange may not be formed on or at a top of the at least one fin collar, which protrudes vertically from a central longitudinal plane of the at least one fin. The tube may be made of aluminum (Al), and an interval between an outer circumferential surface of the tube and an inner circumferential surface of the fin collar of the at least one fin may be approximately 0.1 mm or less. Accordingly, contact resistance occurring when fabricating a fin-tube heat exchanger using a mechanical tube expansion method may be reduced, and heat transfer performance of the heat exchanger may be improved because grooves formed within the tube may not be deformed.

An intermediate portion 33 of the corrugated fin between crest and trough portion 31 and 32 thereof has a plurality of protruding ribs 34 protruding beyond a surface of the corrugated fin and arranged in a first direction. Surfaces of the crest and trough portions being in contact with the tube plates are configured as contact surfaces 310, 320 with no protruding rib. Gently sloping portions 341 are provided between the protruding ribs and the contact surfaces of the crest and trough portions to gradually protrude from the surface of the corrugated fin with increasing distance from the contact surfaces, and are continuous with the protruding ribs.
