摘要: A method performed in a computer-implemented platform includes obtaining sensor data from sensors embedded in a first grip and a second grip of an item of fitness equipment while a user exercises using the item of fitness equipment. The user interacts with the first grip and the second grip while exercising using the item of fitness equipment. The method also includes analyzing the sensor data to determine differences in performance between the left side of the user's body and the right side of the user's body and providing personalized activity for the user to compensate for the differences.

摘要: A method of fabricating a rope that can serve as both a resistance band, jump or rolling rope includes the steps of: (a) braiding a plurality of elastic tubes into a braided rope which has two ends, (b) forming a loop at each of these ends, (c) securing each of these loops to this braided rope with a knot or a zip tie, (d) attaching a handle to this braided rope proximate each of these ends, (e) wherein these elastic tubes are: (i) fabricated from materials in the group including a latex rubber and a non-latex, synthetic rubber, (ii) selected from the group including those having differing diameters, wall thicknesses, and weights per linear foot, and (iii) selected to makeup a specific, braided rope having a specified elasticity and weight per linear foot.

摘要: A pendulum jump rope for use in confined spaces is described; wherein this pendulum jump rope operates in back and forth pendulum motion such that a flexible elongate member of the pendulum jump rope never has to pass above a user's waist. In some embodiments, the pendulum jump rope may comprise a pair of principal elongate-members; and the flexible elongate-member; wherein the flexible elongate-member may join one of the principal elongate-members to the other principal elongate-member. Free ends of the pair of principal elongate-members may be grasped as handles by the user. Each of the principal elongate-members may also have a joint that is flexible but also resilient; wherein these joints may contribute to the pendulum motion of the flexible elongate member.

摘要: A Weather Resistant Portable Jump Rope Platform comprising of a hard flexible platform affixed to an array of foam panels. As the user jumps rope and impacts the platform, the hard flexible platform and foam panels collectively absorb and disperse the energy of impact suppressing the pounding noise associated with jumping rope. The resiliency of the hard flexible platform will then rebound the user out of the impact compression similar to a competitive jump rope floor. The platform and foam panels are resistant to the damaging effects of ultraviolet light and inclement weather allowing the user to operate in a wide range of environments. The flexible platform surface also functions as a media platform for marketing and advertising.

摘要: A jump rope handle has a hollow handle member with a through bore and a swivel assembly mounted in a swivel mounting portion extending up to one open end of the handle bore. The swivel assembly includes a shoulder bolt having an enlarged head and a shaft having a smooth, unthreaded outer surface extending from the enlarged head to the open end of the handle bore, an end connector or nut secured to the shaft and located outside the bore, and first and second rotatable bearings mounted between the smooth outer surface of the shaft and the handle bore to allow for relatively free rotation of the shoulder bolt in the handle bore. The end connector has a cross-hole or the like for connection to one end of a jump rope and the jump rope is easily rotatable relative to the handle via the swivel assembly during skipping activity.

摘要: The present invention relates to wobbly balls and exercise coil springs. A wobbly ball may include a non-spherical rigid, hollow ball body formed of two halves, each half comprising an upper ladle or a lower ladle which are welded together along a central seam therebetween, and defining a hollow cavity therein. A spherical inner ball is captured within the hollow cavity of the hollow ball body of the wobbly ball, so that upon movement of the wobbly ball, the inner ball rolls within the cavity, producing a wobbly, eccentric motion. The exercise coil spring may be formed of a single coiled wire, the coiled spring including a central portion where the coiled wire is coiled to a first diameter that is constant. Opposed flared ends are provided ends of the central portion where the coiled wire is progressively coiled from the first diameter to a second diameter, which is greater.

摘要: An exercise device having many advantageous features is described, including the ability to provide users with multiple modes of training by transforming the device into different configurations. Users can exercise their cardiovascular endurance by using the device in its jump rope configuration. Users can also engage in muscular resistance training using the same device configured to one of multiple possible resistance training configurations. Resistance training configurations provide a method of suspending users' bodyweight such that they can train their muscular strength capacity by exerting themselves against the force of gravity. Resistance can be selected from nearly zero resistance to a user's full body weight, with the ability to easily adjust between exercises and between users, and the ability to easily transform the device between configurations to provide for versatility and ease-of-use. The device includes an inelastic length member with two clip assemblies and two handles and/or grips at both ends.
