摘要： A ball with a hollow inner core filled approximately 50% or less by volume with a fluid (which can include metallic spheres), a ball shell and struts (six or more) attached to the core and connected to an inner surface of the ball in such a way so as to maintain the core at the center of the ball. A swirling motion of the fluid within the hollow inner core determines the motion of the ball and a direction of travel away from a point of contact at which a force is applied to the ball to cause it to move or change direction. The direction of travel of the ball will be to the right when a counterclockwise spin is applied to the ball at the point of contact, the direction of travel of the ball will be to the left when it a clockwise spin is applied to the ball at the point of contact, and the direction of travel of the ball will be straight when a top spin is applied to ball at the point of contact. The weight ratio of the fluid to the ball without the fluid is approximately 1:1 or greater.

摘要： A play object consisting of a larger ball with an open, substantially spherical-section cavity into which a smaller ball fits snuggly, yet is easily removable and re-insertable due to the diameter of the rim of the cavity being slightly smaller than the diameter of the smaller ball. The rim of the cavity is rounded. When the smaller ball is positioned in the cavity, it protrudes to roughly the spherical boundary defined by the larger ball to allow the combination to roll. When the smaller ball is removed from the cavity, the smaller ball is rollable, and the larger ball is relatively stable when placed on a flat surface with the cavity side down. Furthermore, multiple larger balls oriented with the cavity side downwards may be stacked. The balls are preferably soft, and their surfaces can be smooth, ribbed or furry. Ribbed larger balls provide the advantages of facilitating stacking, and obscuring deviations in the trueness of rolling produced by the lip of the cavity.

摘要： An object with a dynamically changeable configuration is provided. The outer surface configuration and/or the weight displacement configuration can be dynamically changed to alter the characteristics of the object, which can be a toy, such as a football, baseball or flying disc. To change the outer configuration of the object, a cover having an outer surface and at least one aperture therethrough is provided. A surface changing member, such as a bladder, is urgable into the at least one aperture to dynamically change the outer surface of the object. To change the weight displacement of the object, the main body includes a first chamber and a second chamber therein where fluid, such as gas or liquid, can flow therebetween. The positioning of the fluid within the first chamber and the second chamber is controlled by a pump and valve system. As a result, the weight displacement of the object is dynamically changeable.
