摘要： A disposable syringe set includes a syringe barrel in which a medicinal fluid inlet is formed and a plunger is fitted and coupled to an opening at the other side; a first screw-coupling portion formed on an outer circumference of the medicinal fluid inlet; a syringe needle hub in which a syringe needle is coupled to one end and an inner side at the other end is fitted and coupled to the outer circumference of the medicinal fluid inlet; and a second screw-coupling portion formed on an inner circumference of the syringe needle hub and configured to be coupled to the first screw-coupling portion. The first screw-coupling portion is formed as a female-thread-type coupling portion whose diameter is smaller than a reference diameter of the medicinal fluid inlet. The second screw-coupling portion is formed as a male-thread-type coupling portion configured to be coupled to the female-thread-type coupling portion.

摘要： An arrangement for coupling a plunger to either a syringe or a stopper arranged in the syringe. The arrangement includes a syringe holder which is slidably arranged in a housing. The syringe holder is provided with at least one resilient syringe holder arm arranged distally, the syringe holder arm having an inclined surface for bearing against a shoulder, which is arranged at the plunger. The syringe holder arm is supportable by an inner surface of the housing in order to prevent it from being flexed outward in a first position. A widened portion is provided in the housing for allowing the syringe holder arm to flex outwards and disconnect from the plunger when in a more proximal position so as to switch load of the plunger from the syringe to the stopper.

摘要： In one aspect, a medical injector is provided herein having a body and an overcap releasably attached to the body configured to prevent mounting of a needle prior to mixing of components within the body. In a further aspect, a slidable collet may be provided useable to urge resilient members from an outward disrupted state inwardly to collectively define a needle mount. Advantageously, a medical injector is provided which ensures proper sequence in preparation of the device, particularly with respect to the step of allowing mounting of a medical needle to the device subsequent to preparation of the medicament to be administered.

摘要： A syringe assembly includes a prefilled syringe and a cap. A cap body is configured to be displaced from a first position where a viewing portion is positioned in a cylindrical main body to a second position where the viewing portion protrudes in a distal end direction from an opening of the cylindrical main body. When a mounting tube portion of the cap removed from a syringe body is brought close to a nozzle portion of the syringe body, the cap body is pressed in the distal end direction by the nozzle portion, thereby being displaced from the first position to the second position, and the appearance of an outer peripheral portion of the viewing portion changes.

摘要： Disclosed are applicators and methods injecting of a liquid anesthetic into a dental patient with no or minimal pain. In accordance with one embodiment the applicator is for intraligamentary injection and includes an elongated, thin member having an open distal free formed of a resilient and somewhat conformable material suitable for producing a substantially fluid-tight interface with the anatomic structures at the gingival sulcus to inject the anesthetic therein. In another embodiment the applicator includes a flexible skirt surrounding a sharpened cannula, with the cannula being movable with respect to the skirt. The skirt is arranged to receive the anesthetic to anesthetize the gum, whereupon the cannula can then pierce the gum to inject the anesthetic into the underlying anatomic structure.

摘要： A shielding needle assembly is provided with a hub having a needle cannula with a puncture tip extending from a forward end thereof, and a shield member in telescoping association with the hub. A drive member biases the hub and the shield member away from each other for relative telescopic movement between a first position in which the puncture tip extends from a forward end of the shield member, and a second position in which the puncture tip is encompassed within the shield member. A pivoting lever maintains the hub and the shield member in the first position against the bias of the drive member with the needle cannula exposed for use. The lever is pivotable during contact with a patient's skin surface such as during venipuncture, thereby releasing the hub and the shield member from the first position and permitting the drive member to bias the hub and the shield member toward the second position.

摘要： A fluid filled cartridge having a fixed needle and a piston assembly for expression of its contents is mounted inside an applicator. In order to extend the needle from the body prior to cartridge contents expression and without premature leakage of fluid therefrom, an actuator is mounted in the body to drive the cartridge forwards. This is accomplished by co-operating driving and driven parts of the actuator and the cartridge (or any carrier it may have) which are decoupled by release formations in the applicator body after the cartridge has been moved sufficiently to extend the needle. The applicator also includes provision for automatic needle retraction after cartridge contents expression. A separate inventive feature is the deformability of the piston so that force transmission to the trigger means to initiate needle retraction only occurs upon full content expression when the piston has “bottomed out” within the cartridge.
