Abstract:
A Personal Care Vaporizing Device is disclosed. The device has a central base unit including a large removable liquid reservoir and a handheld skin massage/exfoliating device. The handheld assembly can selectively emit vapor directly to the skin surface. Unlike the prior devices in the field, the present invention allows the user to selectively dispense either cool or warm vapor. The liquid reservoir is designed to accept skin care additives in addition to simple water for generating the vapor. The device has at least three operational modes: vapor only, massage head brush oscillation/massage motion only, and both vapor and oscillation/massage. Power for the device is available from a variety of sources, including internal batteries and/or external power supply.
Abstract:
A bathtub system is disclosed. The first bathtub has a plurality of side portions. The plurality of side portions of the first bathtub having a plurality of openings. A second bathtub is disposed underneath the first bathtub wherein the second bathtub overlaps the plurality of side portions of the first bathtub, where an opening space is defined between the second bathtub and the first bathtub. The plurality of side portions are configured to receive a plurality of liquids. The opening space between the second bathtub and the first bathtub includes a heating device. The heating device is configured to heat the plurality of liquids to transform the plurality of liquids into a gas. The gas is released through the plurality of openings in the plurality of side portions.

Abstract:
A method of removing multiple hairs and inhibiting future hair growth includes the steps of applying a conductive solution to the hair, applying power for a period of time sufficient to destroy the matrix area of the hair, and allowing the treated hair to either be removed immediately or to stay in the skin for a period of time sufficient for the chemical reaction induced at the matrix area to continue long enough to destroy the matrix area and prevent regrowth of the hair. The hair removal is accomplished by use of a spring having at least two coils which are movable into engagement with each other. The two coils are configured for engaging and grasping hairs. When the coils clamp an engaged hair, and then moved relative to the skin, the hair is removed thereby. A device particularly suited for carrying out the invention includes coils which can be moved away from and toward each other for engaging hairs to be removed.
Abstract:
A personal appliance comprises a vacuum chamber and a steam-generating chamber. Steam is applied to an area of human skin for a period which is long enough to open pores, melt any wax-like substances within the pores, and otherwise cause the skin to be cleaned. Thereafter, a mild suction is applied to the steamed area. In some instances the suction may be applied in a pulsating manner to massage the skin.
