摘要： A sheet assembly includes a sheet having an edge and a pocket extending longitudinally along the edge. A plurality of loops are arranged along the edge and extend from openings formed in the pocket of the sheet. An adjustment webbing is slidably positioned within the pocket. At least a portion of each loop of the plurality of loops is anchored to the adjustment webbing such that sliding the adjustment webbing along the pocket pulls the plurality of loops into the pocket and reduces an exposed length of the plurality of loops.

摘要： Provided is a nursing-care device capable of easily moving a care-requiring person from the nursing-care device to medical/nursing-care equipment arranged at the side of a bed. One embodiment of the present invention includes a bed body having a floor portion at an upper surface, one and the other support bases supporting both ends of the bed body, support rods extending upward of the floor portion, and a lifting/lowering unit configured to lift/lower the bed body and the support rods. A lifting member is attached to the support rods. The support rods are lowered in a case where the bed body is lifted by the lifting/lowering unit, and are lifted in a case where the bed body is lowered. In a case where the support rods are lowered, the lowermost portion of the lifting member is moved to below the floor portion of the bed body.

摘要： An ambulatory assist device provides mobility assistance for an ambulatory transition between seated and standing positions. A mobile frame defines a structure similar to a walker device. The mobile frame includes a plurality of wheels for rolling communication with a ground surface. Lift arms, driven by an actuator, pivot around an axis of a cross member attached to the frame. The lift arm is configured for actuated pivotal movement for an ambulatory transition between seated and standing positions by a harness engaging the patient. The pivot is based on an arc of patient movement between the sitting and standing positions, such that the arc emulates natural movements of a human skeletal frame during an ambulatory transition. The patient experiences forces along the same path that an unassisted transition would encounter. Once in an ambulatory position, the device allows ambulatory movement in a manner similar to a walking assist (walker) device.

摘要： A lift transfer device for disabled people includes a wheeled chassis having a column with a bottom end attached to the chassis and a top end including an arm rest. A winch is provided that is supported by the chassis and/or the column. The winch includes a tow rope having a distal end and a hook disposed at the distal end of the tow rope. The tow rope runs through one or more guide rings disposed on the column and the arm rest. A harness is provided that is worn by a user of the lift transfer device. The hook on the tow rope may be connected to a pulling loop on the harness, the winch facilitates a lifting of the user as the tow rope is retracted by the winch and a lowering of the user as the tow rope is paidout by the winch.

摘要： A caregiver's helper lift utilizes a unique hoisting apparatus, a lifting harness worn by a patient, and a control apparatus to allow a caregiver to raise and lower a patient into/out-of a wheelchair and into/out-of a vehicle, down to or up off a floor, or to any other position/location that a patient needs to be moved. The lifting harness can clip to a lift attachment which is affixed to a helper lift suspension cable/rope/etc. The caregiver's helper lift utilizes a crane arm to suspend the patient and allow him or her to be repositioned by simply rolling/turning the lift. By actuating the hoisting apparatus control system, the patient can be controllably raised and lowered as desired. The crane arm can be adjustably attached to a power T upright which is itself attached to a brace base. At least two beam extensions extend laterally from the brace and provide stability.
