摘要: In one embodiment, a sensor includes a capsule having a cavity and a sheath, a transducer coupled to electronic circuitry in the cavity, and a clip outside the capsule. The capsule and the clip are configured to hold in vivo an object within an opening between the capsule and the clip. The transducer is configured to detect an incoming signal indicative of a physiological parameter of the object being held, and the electronic circuitry is configured to wirelessly transmit a signal containing information about the physiological parameter obtained from the incoming signal. The sensor is part of a measurement system to measure the physiological parameter. Another embodiment describes a method using the measurement system.

摘要: An intra-oral imaging device includes: an imager that detects radiation transmitted through an object while being placed in an oral cavity; and a controller that controls the imager while being placed outside the oral cavity. The imager includes an image sensor including a plurality of pixels for acquiring an image of the object. While power is being supplied to the controller, the controller supplies power to the image sensor in an imaging period during which the image sensor performs imaging and stops supplying the power to the image sensor in a standby period during which the image sensor is on standby.

The buccal arm includes an elongated arm opening for receiving a portion of a sliding interoral position arm. The position arm is attached to a digital x-ray sensor. The position arm is used to adjust the sensor in the middle of the patient's mouth.

摘要: Various embodiments of a device for in-vivo measurements radiopharmaceuticals used for diagnosis and radiotherapy is presented. In some embodiments, the present disclosure relates to a scintillation device having a cannula that may include scintillation material and a delivery lumen, wherein the device may be used to both deliver material to the patient (e.g., deliver radiotracers used in radiopharmaceuticals) and measure levels of radioactive material in, for example, the patient's blood both during and after administration of the radioactive material. In some embodiments, particles emitted by the radioactive material interact with the scintillation material, resulting in the release of light that may be transmitted, via the scintillation material and/or fiber optic material, to one or more optical detectors or processors for processing. In some embodiments, particle absorbing materials may be used to reduce the effective measurement volume thereby measure only particles emitted from within a blood vessel of interest.

摘要: An imaging capsule with a fail-safe radiation mechanism includes a first rotatable disk with a radiation source mounted thereon and having a collimator structure allowing emission of radiation from radiation source from a few locations on the first disk. A second rotatable disk surrounds the first disk, is rotatable relative to first disk, and includes areas that block radiation and areas that are transparent to emission of radiation. In a rest position, second disk is situated relative to first disk such that areas that block radiation are blocking the emission of radiation from the locations on the circumference of the disk that allow the emission of radiation. A motor is activated to rotate one of the disks and allow emission of radiation. A connector is configured to automatically return first disk and second disk to the rest position when the motor is deactivated.
