Abstract:
The popcorn popper has an on-board storage compartment for storing un-popped kernels of corn. The un-popped kernels of corn may be directed from the storage compartment to cooking surfaces via a dispenser. The dispenser provides a desired serving size of kernels and includes a mechanism to prevent overfeeding of the popper.
Abstract:
A control device for a cooking appliance, the cooking appliance including a cooking chamber designed to receive at least one predetermined food or a plurality of ingredients of a predetermined recipe, a heating component for heating the cooking chamber, the control device including a control unit arranged to determine at least one combination of predetermined cooking parameters as a function at least of the specific surface area of the at least one unitary element of the at least one predetermined food or the at least one ingredient of the plurality of ingredients of the predetermined recipe inserted into the cooking chamber of the cooking appliance, the specific surface area being estimated from descriptive parameters of the at least one unitary element of the predetermined food or the at least one ingredient from among the plurality of ingredients of the predetermined recipe.
Abstract:
Method and apparatus for a flexible, metal mesh food wrap made up of interlocking flexible metal rings or links which, together with the air pockets between the rings, act as an insulating layer as it is wrapped around the food item during and after the cooking process. The flexible, metal mesh is formed of individual interlocking rings being formed into a flexible sheet of metal mesh. The flexible metal mesh is wrapped around the meat item during the cooking process so that the rings and the air pockets thereinbetween act as a insulating layer to retain heat in the food item during and after the cooking process to allow the natural juices to permeate through the food item without the food item losing its heat so that heat and moisture loss are reduced in order to increase flavor and reduce shrinkage.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an air fryer comprising a casing, an inner tank moved relative to the casing, and a handle connected to the inner tank, the inner tank comprising a food pan and a base pot accommodating the food pan, wherein the handle is provided with a first button, the interior of the handle is provided with a first grab fixing piece, one end of the first grab fixing piece is controlled to be actuated by the first button, and the other end is connected with the base pot in a manner of blocking and hooking, the first grab fixing piece is detached from the base pot by pressing down the first button, thus detaching the handle from the base pot.
Abstract:
A cooking apparatus includes a cavity unit having therein a cooking chamber and a rear wall plate with an introduction hole section and a discharge hole section; a door on or over the cavity unit, configured to open and close an opening of the cavity unit; and a convection heater unit on or behind the rear wall plate, heating air from the cavity unit through the discharge hole section, and supplying hot air to the cooking chamber through the introduction hole section, wherein the introduction hole section is in a lower part of the rear wall plate, and the discharge hole section is in an upper part of the rear wall plate, separate from the introduction hole section.
Abstract:
A gas oven having a gas supplying passage to supply gas to a burner is provided. The gas oven includes an ON/OFF valve to open/close the gas supplying passage, and a flow rate modulating valve connected to the ON/OFF valve in series so as to change the cross-sectional area of a passage, thereby supplying a proper amount of gas to a cooking cavity in response to the change of a cooking area. When a cooking cavity is divided into individual cooking cavities while a divider is mounted, the flow rate modulating valve is open/closed at a smaller opening degree than the maximum operating degree, and thus may be able to prevent a cooking substance from being carbonized in the individual cooking cavities.
Abstract:
A computationally implemented system and method that is designed to, but is not limited to: electronically directing control of at least partial treatment of the one or more portions of the one or more ingestible substrate structures according to the treatment instructional information regarding the one or more subsequent ingestible substrate structure duct operations including flowing one or more fluids through one or more ducts to treat at least in part the one or more portions of the one or more ingestible substrate structures to form at least in part the one or more selected ingestible products subsequent to and based at least in part upon the electronically receiving the user status information and the electronically receiving the selection information. In addition to the foregoing, other method aspects are described in the claims, drawings, and text forming a part of the present disclosure.
