    摘要： A security assembly comprising a frame member 12 and a plurality of doors 14 is mountable inside the housing 4 of an ATM or safe etc. Each door 14 can be opened and closed independently of the other doors. Referring to FIGS. 4 and 5, each door 14 is attached to the frame member 12 by a hinge 16. A barrier member 18, which acts to lock the door 14, is mounted to the door 14 by two pivoting brackets 20. When in the locked condition, the barrier members 18 extend substantially along the whole length of the edge of the door to prevent access through the boundaries between the doors and the frame. A barrier member actuator in the form of a plurality of independently moveable locking blades 22 is slidably mounted to the frame 12.

    摘要： An apparatus and method for enhancing the security of a cluster box unit which includes a protective enclosure, internal cabinetry, door, hinge and locking system. The cluster box unit may also include outgoing mail compartment doors that are heavily constructed and rigidly reinforced, with the locks carried thereon protectively shielded, and with the extensible bolts of these locks being engaged by brackets that not only lock the outgoing mail compartment doors but also the master loading doors of the cluster box units. The cluster box unit may also include master loading doors are provided with hinges that extend the full height of the doors—hinges that are defined by pivotally interfitting elements of extrusions that very sturdily mount the master loading doors, that prevent prying or bending the doors in the vicinities of their hinges. The interfitting elements of the hinge extrusions also permit the doors to be installed on their surrounding door frames quickly and easily, and permit one or both of the master loading doors to be quickly and easily removed for service or replacement when necessary.

    摘要： Flush mountable latches and locks for industrial cabinets, tool carts, electrical equipment enclosures and the like utilize versatile housings of novel configuration together with push-to-operate handles that are pivotally movable relative to the housings to effect unlatching movements of spring-biased, pivotally mounted latch bolts. The lock-type embodiment has a locking mechanism that is mounted on the housing to selectively permit and prevent unlatching movements of its pivotal latch bolt. The resulting arrangement provides sturdy latch and lock assemblies that employ a small number of relatively movable parts that can be assembled, installed and serviced with ease. Improved features include the provision of a plural part handle assembly having portions that are configured to cooperate with a resilient, weather resistant boot that optionally may be interposed between housing and handle assembly components. Other improvements features include the provision of mounting hardware that readily adapts latch and lock units for mounting on structures of a wide variety of thicknesses, and simplifications that enhance the ease of assembly and improve the operation of components that are employed in the lock-type embodiment.
