摘要: The present invention relates to a composition comprising a) recombinant exosporium-producing Bacillus cells that express a fusion protein comprising: (i) at least one plant growth stimulating protein or peptide and (ii) a targeting sequence that localizes the fusion protein to the exosporium of the Bacillus cells; and b) at least one particular insecticide disclosed herein in a synergistically effective amount. Furthermore, the present invention relates to the use of this composition as well as a method for enhancing plant growth, promoting plant health, and/or reducing overall damage of plants and plant parts.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to an ovitrap and a method of controlling mosquito populations. The ovitrap includes a container, a cover, and a dividing mechanism for dividing the container into two regions, which in use are filled with water, and which communicate via an opening such that a first volume below the dividing mechanism defines a larvae trapping region, and a second volume above the dividing mechanism defines an egg receiving region A light source having a cool, white spectra with two peaks is mounted above the container and positioned to direct light downwards at a water surface, such that the larvae move in a direction away from the light source, from the second volume into the first volume below the dividing mechanism via the opening. A gating mechanism is operatively linked to the light source for opening and closing the opening.

摘要: The present invention is directed to a pesticide composition comprising at least two proteins selected from the group consisting of: CrylIa10, Cry2Abl, Cry9Eal, and the amino-acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO: 6. Further provided are the nucleic acid construct comprising a nucleic-acid sequence encoding CrylIa10, Cry2Abl, Cry9Eal, and the amino-acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO: 6, and a method of controlling a pest, comprising contacting the pest with an effective amount of the pesticide composition disclosed herein.

摘要: The present invention relates to the potentiating effect of the association of botanical extract and Bacillus ssp. as a bionematicide agent and its surprising potential effect in promoting plant growth in a single product achieved by a distinguished industrial process. The industrial process of inducing the formation of Bacillus spp. endospores by osmotic stress of vegetative cells in a culture medium during bacterial growth is what allows the mixing of Bacillus spp. and botanical extract, since there is an incompatibility between the Bacillus species themselves and the botanical extract, both in the vegetative phase of the microorganism. Finally, synergy between the active ingredients, microbial cells and allicin, activate the bionematicide and growth-promoting function of the disclosed biotechnological composition.

摘要: Compositions and methods for controlling plant pests are disclosed. In particular, novel engineered hybrid insecticidal proteins having toxicity to at least European corn borer are provided. By fusing unique combinations of complete or partial variable regions and conserved blocks of at least two different Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) Cry proteins or a modified Cry proteins a hybrid insecticidal protein having activity against at least European corn borer is designed. Nucleic acid molecules encoding the novel hybrid proteins are also provided. Methods of making the hybrid proteins and methods of using the hybrid proteins and nucleic acids encoding the hybrid proteins of the invention, for example in transgenic plants to confer protection from insect damage are also disclosed.
