    摘要: A contact lens contains a copolymer obtained by copolymerizing, as an indispensable feed monomer, 2 to 95 wt. % of a carboxylic acid ester monomer and 98 to 5 wt. % of a copolymerizable monomer. The carboxylic acid ester monomer is represented by the formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 stands for a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms, a cyclic alkyl group having 3 to 12 carbon atoms or an aryl group, and X stands for ##STR2## in which R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 each stand for a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms, a cyclic alkyl group having 3 to 12 carbon atoms or an aryl group, m and 1 being integers of from 0 to 4, at least one of R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 being a group containing a fluorine atom and n being an integer of from 0 to 4.

    摘要: A coated vitamin C preparation for animal feed comprises a particulate core containing vitamin C and a coating material composed of one or more fine powdery lipids having a melting point of at least 40.degree. C. and containing vitamin E. The coating material is present as an agglomerated coating layer surrounding the entire circumference of each particle of the particulate core.The coated vitamin C preparation is produced by a process, which comprises a step of bringing particles of a particulate core containing vitamin C into colliding contact with particles of a coating material composed of one or more fine powdery lipids having a melting point of at least 40.degree. C. and containing vitamin E, so as to form a coating layer of agglomerated particles of the coating material surrounding the entire circumference of each particle of the core.The coated vitamin C preparation is useful as a supplement to feeds for animals, such as, livestock, poultry and marine animals, by admixing same with the feed.The coated vitamin C preparation is superior, as compared with conventional coated preparations, in the coverage performance, vitamin C isolation effect against external influences of, such as, light, heat, moisture and atmosphere, and gives better preservation of the vitamin C activity, even upon admixing with feed mixtures, and enables the high absorbability of vitamin C by organisms.

A process for preparing the flavored konnyaku composition involves solating a starting material containing powdered konnyaku, an acidic agent coated with and encapsulated in a coating agent and a seasoning material, adding an alkaline coagulating agent to the starting material to gelate the starting material to obtain a konnyaku gel structure, and heating and melting the coating agent of the acidic agent encapsulated therein present in the gel structure to thereby release the acidic agent into the gel structure.
