摘要： A puncturing device for pressurized containers comprises an elongated housing member defining an elongated cavity with openings at first and second ends thereof for receiving an inverted pressurized container at the first end, the housing member including an attachment member for securing the second end of the housing member to a collection receptacle. A non-sparking puncturing member, is mounted within the housing member for piercing a nozzle-end of the pressurized container at its domed top. A counter records each action of the puncture pin. Gases and residual contents are released into the receptacle through the hollow core of the puncture pin. An auxiliary support member is mounted on the housing member for stabilizing relative movement between the housing member and the receptacle. A force-applying apparatus is mounted on the housing member for forcing the pressurized container onto the puncture pin.

摘要： A safety cabinet is disclosed which includes an enclosure having a double-wall construction and at least one door to selectively seal the enclosure. The safety cabinet includes a latch system for selectively retaining the door(s) in a closed position to cover the enclosure. The safety cabinet can be used to store, for example, flammable liquids, flammable waste, corrosives, pesticides, or combustible waste. The latch system includes fusible links that fuse when exposed to high ambient temperatures and cause the latch system to further engage the enclosure, thereby promoting the interlocking relationship between the door(s) and the enclosure when the safety cabinet is exposed to threshold high ambient temperatures.

摘要： A cabinet for the storage of aerosol containers, which may satisfy the storage cabinet construction requirements of NFPA 30A, the cabinet including a top wall, a bottom wall, and a number of side walls defining an interior. Each wall is of double-wall construction, and one side wall includes an opening for storage and removal of aerosol containers. A closeable door of double-wall construction is hingedly attached to the side wall including the opening, wherein the door may be secured, in its closed position, by a latching mechanism. The cabinet may also include fixed-position, adjustable, or sliding shelves with retainers to receive and secure aerosol containers within the cabinet.

摘要： A safety cabinet includes an enclosure and at least one door to selectively seal the enclosure. The safety cabinet can be used to store, for example, flammable liquids, flammable waste, corrosives, pesticides, or combustible waste. The safety cabinet incorporates a thermally-actuated damper that includes a body, a valve plate, and a pivot assembly. The valve plate is disposed within the passage of the body such that the valve plate is movable between an open position and a closed position. The pivot assembly includes a biasing system adapted to bias the valve plate to the closed position and a fusible link interconnected between the body and the biasing system to constrain the valve plate from moving from the open position to the closed position. The fusible link is configured to melt at a predetermined temperature to thereby allow the biasing system to move the valve plate to the closed position.

摘要： A modular storage structure can be constructed from a number of modular wall panels and modular roof panels. Multiple modular wall panels can be joined to form a wall system of the storage structure. The wall panels can be serially connected together such that a J-shaped interlock member of one panel is in abutting relationship with a corresponding J-shaped interlock member of another wall panel to define a series of wall stud assemblies adapted to receive fasteners for joining wall layers. The roof panels can be serially connected together in a similar fashion. In embodiments, the storage structure can be constructed such that it meets the predetermined requirements for a fire rating (e.g. a 2-hour or a 4-hour fire rating).

摘要： A receptacle for spent smoking materials is provided. The receptacle includes a base portion defining a chamber for containing the smoking materials. The base portion has an open upper end having a rim. The receptacle also includes an upper portion having a neck which extends upward from a dome which engages the rim and encloses an upper end of the base portion. A seal being provided between the rim of the base and the dome. A head is arranged at the upper end of the neck. The head has an orifice therein for receiving spent smoking materials. The orifice being arranged underneath and adjacent a bonnet which protects the orifice from the infiltration of rainwater.
