    Abstract: A shock absorber includes a piston valve, a body valve installed at a lower side of a tube, a lower guide member installed between the piston valve and the body valve and including a lower through-hole through which the fluid passes, and a lower passing slit formed to allow the fluid to pass therethrough at a flow rate relatively lower than a flow rate at which the fluid passes through the lower through-hole, a mid-guide member having a mid-guide hole through which the fluid passes, the mid-guide member being disposed between the piston valve and the lower guide member and configured to close the lower through-hole when the mid-guide member is in contact with the lower guide member, a first elastic member interposed between the lower guide member and the mid-guide member, and a second elastic member interposed between the piston valve and the mid-guide member.

    Abstract: During an operation of applying a parking brake, when sufficient brake clamping force is applied by a brake actuator, a parking lock actuator having a pin is energized to cause the pin to be moved toward a strut so that the strut is engaged with one of notches of a rotatable part operably connected with the brake actuator in order to prevent rotation of the rotatable part in one direction of releasing the brake and to allow rotation of the rotatable part in the other direction of applying the brake, and then the parking lock actuator is de-energized and the pin is moved away from the strut. During an operation of releasing the parking brake, the brake actuator rotates the rotatable part in the brake apply direction to disengage the strut from the notch, and then releases the brake.

An embodiment may provide a steering motor control device for controlling a steering motor including a first winding and a second winding including a receiver for receiving requested output information on an output of the steering motor, a determiner configured to, if one of the first winding and the second winding is determined to fail, determine output distribution information based on the requested output information and predetermined reference output information, and determine normal winding control information and faulty winding control information based on the output distribution information, and a controller for controlling an operation of the normal winding and an operation of the failed winding.

    Abstract: A boot assembly for a vehicle brake comprises: a flexible boot having an end portion coupled to a housing accommodating at least some components of the vehicle brake including a rotatable body configured to be rotatable by an actuator to move a brake pad and a bearing configured to rotatably support the rotatable body and comprising a non-rotatable bearing race, wherein the boot supports the non-rotatable bearing race; and a boot retainer configured to hold the boot in a fixed position with respect to the housing. Another end portion of the boot is coupled to a linearly movable body configured to be translatable according to rotation of the rotatable body of the vehicle brake to seal an inner bore of the housing. The boot is coupled with one side of the non-rotatable bearing race to limit an axial movement of the non-rotatable bearing race away from the housing.

    Abstract: An internal type electronically controlled valve assembly includes a main poppet retainer formed in a disc shape with a rim protruding downward and disposed horizontally between a main poppet and a control disk. The internal type electronically controlled valve assembly is configured such that, during a compression stroke, a working fluid introduced through a hollow hole of a main sheet passes between the control disk and the main poppet retainer, reducing the pressure, and then flows into a pilot passage formed in the main poppet, thereby significantly reducing the pressure of a compression pilot chamber.
