摘要: A propulsion control system for a marine vessel includes a propulsion system comprising at least one propulsion device configured to propel the marine vessel, a proximity sensor system configured to generate proximity measurements describing proximity of objects surrounding the marine vessel, and a control system. The control system is configured to receive the proximity measurements, generate a most important object (MIO) dataset based on the proximity measurements, wherein the MIO dataset defines a closest proximity measurement in each of a plurality of directions with respect to the marine vessel, calculate a velocity limit dataset based on the MIO dataset, wherein the velocity limit dataset defines a velocity limit in each of the plurality of directions, and control the propulsion system based on the velocity limit dataset.

摘要: A marine propulsion system for a marine vessel is provided. The system includes an engine effectuating rotation of an output shaft; at least one battery configured to power a load; an alternator having a rotor that is driven into rotation by the output shaft and that outputs a charge current to the at least one battery; and a control system configured to operate the engine in a propulsion mode to rotate a propulsor to propel the marine vessel and a generator mode to charge the at least one battery while the marine vessel remains stationary. The control system is further configured to receive a generator mode command to start the engine in the generator mode; determine whether at least one generator start condition is satisfied; and responsive to a determination that the at least one generator start condition is satisfied, operate the engine in the generator mode.

摘要: A portable fuel tank assembly includes a portable fuel tank for holding fuel and a support to be connected to a supporting surface for holding the fuel tank stationary with respect to the supporting surface. The fuel tank has a first quick connector for fluid communication with the fuel in the fuel tank. The support has a second quick connector for mating and providing fluid communication with the first quick connector. The fuel tank and support are configured such that securing the fuel tank in the support simultaneously mates the second quick connector to the first quick connector to provide for fluid communication between the second quick connector and the fuel in the fuel tank. A support for holding a portable fuel tank is also provided.

The system further includes a user input device, such as a joystick, operable by a user to provide a propulsion demand input commanding lateral movement of the marine vessel and rotational movement of the marine vessel. A control system is included that is configured to control steering and thrust of each of the at least two rear marine drives and thrust of the lateral marine drive based on the propulsion demand input so as to generate the lateral movement and/or the rotational movement commanded by the user.

摘要: A marine drive has a supporting frame, an electric motor configured to power a propulsor for generating a thrust force in water, and an electrical power unit for the electric motor which is coupled to the supporting frame. Operation of the electrical power unit generates heat that is transferred to the supporting frame. A cowling encloses the electrical power unit and covers a first portion of the supporting frame. A different, second portion of the supporting frame is exposed to atmosphere outside the cowling. The supporting frame and cowling are configured so that the second portion of the supporting frame provides a heat exchanger that transfers the heat from the electrical power unit to the atmosphere.

摘要: A stowable propulsion device for a marine vessel having a deck. A base is configured to be coupled to the marine vessel below the deck. A propulsor is configured to propel the marine vessel in water. An arm couples the propulsor to the base such that moving the arm moves the propulsor into and between a stowed position located proximate to the marine vessel and a deployed position located relatively distal from the marine vessel as compared to the stowed position, and such that moving the arm rotates the propulsor about the arm. An actuator comprises a first link movably coupled to the base and a second link that movably couples the first link to the arm. An actuator moves the actuator linkage to thereby move the propulsor into and between the stowed position and the deployed position.

摘要: A method of controlling a steering system on a marine vessel includes, in response to receiving input to engage a quick steer mode, employing a reduced steering ratio to translate a change in position of a steering wheel to a desired change in steering angle of a marine drive. A vessel speed of the marine vessel is compared to a threshold vessel speed. Upon determining that the vessel speed exceeds the threshold vessel speed, an output limit in a direction of travel of the marine vessel is determined and the marine drive is controlled based on the output limit. A steering actuator associated with the marine drive is controlled based on the reduced steering ratio and the change in position of the steering wheel.
