    Abstract: A method for treating a wort in a kettle provides a kettle with an inlet for feeding a wort into the kettle and with an outlet for flowing the wort out of the kettle. A heating means for bringing the wort contained in the kettle close to or at boiling temperature, as well as for controlling the temperature. A gas sparging system for sparging an inert gas into said wort. Feeding wort from a lautering step into said boiling kettle through the inlet, the wort at a temperature below its boiling temperature. During sparging, heating the wort and maintaining it at a treatment temperature below the boiling temperature of the wort for a duration between 15 and 90 min, and no longer than required to evaporate at most 4 wt. % of water initially in the wort. Transferring the treated wort to a trub separation step through the outlet.

    Abstract: A method of forming packaging accommodates one or more products and packaging produced by the method. The method includes providing a planar packaging blank of foldable material and assembling it into packaging capable of accommodating at least one product. A flexible electronics module on the packaging blank has at least one temperature measurement device and a temperature display to measure and display the temperature of at least one of the products. The positioning of the flexible electronics module with respect to the packaging permits both to be folded together to form the assembled packaging. The packaging is foldable from a first unassembled state to a second assembled state to accommodate at least one product, and the electronics module is at least partly flexible to enable it to be folded with the packaging. The packaging may hold six beverage containers and might be considered to be a “six pack.”

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a portable cooling multipack for holding and cooling a plurality of beverage containers. The multipack includes a primary container formed from an open top housing, having a bottom surface, and a plurality of sidewalls connected and extended away from the bottom surface to define an inner surface there-between, accessible through a top open surface. The multipack further includes a closing wrap for closing the top open surface of the housing of the primary container. The closing wrap includes a plurality of panels defining a first end panel connected to a second end panel through a bottom panel at one end and extending towards a top panel at another end. The closing wrap is wrapped around a pair of sidewalls of the primary containers in a vertical direction such that the top panel of the closing wrap sealingly covers the open top surface of the primary container.
