摘要: Embodiments of a deadfront article are provided. The deadfront article includes a substrate having a first surface and a second surface. The deadfront article also includes a semi-transparent layer disposed onto the second surface of the substrate. The semi-transparent layer has a region of a solid color or of a design of two or more colors, and the semi-transparent layer has a first optical density. Further, the deadfront article includes a contrast layer disposed onto the region. The contrast layer is configured to enhance visibility of the color(s) of the semi-transparent layer.

摘要: Deadfront articles that include a tactile element formed on a first surface of a substrate and a visual element disposed on a second surface of the substrate opposite the first surface. The tactile element is positioned on the first surface of the substrate in a complimentary fashion to the visual element disposed on the second surface of the substrate. The tactile element may include a surface roughness portion having a surface roughness different than the surface roughness of an area bordering the surface roughness portion. The deadfront articles may be incorporated into an automobile interior to provide a visual and haptic display interface for a user.

摘要: The present invention provides a metal-carbon composite of a core-shell structure and a method of synthesizing the same. The method includes preparing a first polymer-covered glass substrate with a nano-thickness metal film deposited thereon; immersing the first polymer-covered glass substrate with the metal film to delaminate one or more 2D freestanding organic-metal nanosheets from the first polymer-covered glass substrate; transferring the one or more 2D freestanding organic-metal nanosheets onto a second target substrate; and annealing the one or more 2D freestanding organic-metal nanosheets to decompose an organic portion of the organic-metal nanosheet into an amorphous carbon-containing shell forming a metal-carbon nanocomposite of a core-shell structure.

摘要: A method for producing a coated and printed glass panel, includes a) providing a glass substrate having a metal-containing coating on a first surface and a polymeric protective layer with a thickness d arranged on this metal-containing coating, b) removing the polymeric protective layer in a first region using a carbon dioxide laser, c) removing the metal-containing coating within the first region only in a second region using a solid-state laser such that an edge region is created, in which the metal-containing coating is intact and in which the polymeric protective layer was removed in step b), d) applying a ceramic ink only in the first region, e) heat treating the glass panel at >600° C., wherein the polymeric protective layer is removed on the entire first surface, in the edge region, the metal-containing coating is dissolved by the ceramic ink lying above it, and the ceramic ink is fired.

摘要: A solar control film with improved moisture resistance function is provided. The solar control film includes a flexible substrate, at least one infrared-reflective composite layer and an outer dielectric layer. The infrared-reflective composite layer includes a dielectric sublayer and a metal sublayer. The dielectric sublayer is disposed on the flexible substrate, and the material of the dielectric sublayer includes TiO2. The metal sublayer is disposed on the dielectric sublayer, and includes 8.3-16.4 atomic % Ag, 0.5-1.0 atomic % Ti, 81.0-90.9 atomic % N, and 0.3-0.6 atomic % noble metal, and the noble metal is Au, Pd or any combinations thereof. The outer dielectric layer is disposed on the infrared-reflective composite layer, and the material of the outer dielectric layer includes TiO2. In this way, the provided solar control film can effectively suppress of forming white spots without significantly sacrificing its original function and characteristics.
