    摘要: A method of retransmitting of a lost packet in a mobile communication system in which multiple copies plus delays occur i.e. after a transmitter has received from a receiver a negative acknowledgement (NACK) signal, which points to a specific data packet, multiple copies of the specific data packet are retransmitted with a delay, which is inserted between two consecutive copies. The number of multiple copies can be acquired by a linear or exponential calculation according to the current number of retransmission. The specific retransmission method may be the interleaving transmission method, which transmits a retransmission queue in the interleaving retransmission interval; or the multiple queues polling transmission method, which transmits the retransmission queue by copy queues sequence. In the correlated fading channels, the method of the present invention can decrease the number of retransmissions, and at the same time it can increase efficiency of each retransmission.

    摘要: Systems and methods to support coexistence of multi-connectivity functions in 3GPP network and non-3GPP networks for UEs and to provide traffic routing policies and coordinate with ATSSS operation in 5GS are described. The AF subscribes to a registration-state notification event. A report is sent to the AF from the PCF or NEF. The report indicates a current registration state of a UE and is triggered when the registration state of the UE changes. The report may be sent with or without PDU session information, the former of which may be based on a determination by the AMF or the SMF. Traffic steering is enforced by the MAMS among multiple IP sessions coordinated via a single or a multiple PDU sessions in the 3GPP network.

    摘要: Embodiments include apparatuses, methods, and systems to reduce handover latency in an integrated wireless local area network (WLAN) and wireless cellular network. In embodiments, a user equipment (UE) may communicate with a packet data network (PDN) gateway (P-GW) via the WLAN and/or the wireless cellular network. Various embodiments may provide monitoring circuitry to monitor one or more PDN connections between the P-GW and the UE over the WLAN, determine that the UE should be in a radio resource control (RRC)-Connected mode based on the monitored one or more PDN connections, and transmit an inactivity timer reconfiguration (ITR) message to request suspension of an inactivity timer associated with the UE. The monitoring circuitry may be included in the P-GW, a WLAN gateway, the UE, and/or another component of the network.
