摘要: A suspension structure includes a clamp bracket attachable to a hull, a main load bearing portion to support an outboard motor body to mainly bear the weight of the outboard motor body, a tilt shaft, a coupling, and a cylinder to change a trim angle or a tilt angle of the outboard motor body. The coupling includes a first end rotatably supported by the tilt shaft, and a second end fixed to the main load bearing portion. The cylinder includes a first end supported by the clamp bracket at a position lower than the tilt shaft and rotatable about a first rotation shaft in an up-down direction, and a second end supporting the coupling and rotatable about a second rotation shaft in the up-down direction. The second rotation shaft is provided in or near the main load bearing portion.

摘要: An outboard motor includes an outboard motor main body including an engine and a propeller driven by the engine, an upper bracket to attach the outboard motor main body to a hull, and a pair of antivibration mounts. The pair of antivibration mounts are joined to the upper bracket, and sandwich and elastically support a portion of the outboard motor main body from the left and the right of the outboard motor main body. The pair of antivibration mounts are arranged side by side in the left-right direction so that a center of rolling of the outboard motor main body is located between the pair of antivibration mounts in the left-right direction, and are bilaterally asymmetrical to each other.

摘要: A system for maneuvering a boat including a hull and an outboard motor includes a left tilt shaft, a right tilt shaft, a steering shaft support, and a hydraulic cylinder. At least a portion of the hydraulic cylinder is between the left tilt shaft and the right tilt shaft. The hydraulic cylinder exerts a steering force on the outboard motor to rotate the outboard motor about a steering shaft. A hydraulic pump supplies hydraulic fluid to the hydraulic cylinder. One of the left tilt shaft and the right tilt shaft includes a first hole. A portion of the stroke range of the hydraulic cylinder is located within the first hole.

摘要: In an outboard motor, a first damper member is disposed between a bracket and a casing such that the first damper member supports a weight of an outboard motor body. A second damper member is disposed between the bracket and the casing. The casing or the bracket includes a left first inclined surface and a right first inclined surface. The left first inclined surface and the right first inclined surface are inclined with respect to a front-back direction of the outboard motor body in a planar view of the outboard motor body. The second damper member includes a left second inclined surface and a right second inclined surface. The left second inclined surface is arranged to oppose the left first inclined surface. The right second inclined surface is arranged to oppose the right first inclined surface.
