Abstract:
A device may receive relationship information indicating a relationship between first geographic information and a network gateway. The network gateway may be associated with providing a user device with access to a network. The device may store the relationship information. The device may receive, from the user device and via a base station, second geographic information indicating a tracking area in which the user device is located. The device may identify one or more network gateways, associated with the second geographic information, based on the second geographic information and the relationship information. The device may provide, to the user device, one or more device identifiers associated with the one or more network gateways to permit the user device to access the network via the one or more network gateways. The one or more device identifiers may be provided in association with a non-access stratum message.
Abstract:
A first device may receive data associated with a second device from within a first network and independently of a second network. The second device may include a sensor or an application to form or process a data record. The first device may establish a bearer between the first device and a particular user device, of multiple user devices, in accordance with a bearer policy; and provide the data towards the particular user device via a first sub-network, of multiple sub-networks, of the second network and via the bearer. The first sub-network may be independent of a second sub-network of the multiple sub-networks. The second sub-network may permit user device data to be transmitted between the multiple user devices. The first sub-network and the second sub-network may consume different levels of network resources.

Abstract:
A device may receive information associated with establishing a gateway connection. The gateway connection may be an ad hoc connection to a user device that permits the user device to transfer network traffic to/from a base station via another user device and without the user device directly connecting to the base station via a radio access network. The information being associated with determining that a gateway establishment condition is satisfied. The device may cause the gateway connection to be established based on the information associated with establishing the gateway connection. The device may cause the user device to utilize the gateway connection to transfer network traffic to/from the base station.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for providing promotional content are provided. Criteria defining a plurality of different activity-related modes for a user of a mobile station are stored. A message from the mobile station containing that contains information about an activity engaged in by the user is received through a mobile communication network. One of the activity-related modes for a user of a mobile station is selected upon determining that the information about the activity satisfies at least one criterion corresponding to the selected activity-related mode. Promotional content associated with the selected activity-related mode is obtained. The obtained promotional content is transmitted through the mobile communication network to the mobile station for presentation to the user.
Abstract:
A device may receive a request to update a data structure with first communication information from multiple applications. The first communication information may identify communications made, by a particular user, using the applications, and the applications may be associated with different modes of communication. The device may request the first communication information from devices storing the first communication information, may receive the first communication information, and may store the first communication information in the data structure. The device may receive criteria identifying requested communications, and may search the data structure to determine second communication information. The second communication information may identify the requested communications that satisfy the criteria. The device may provide the second communication information to a user device associated with the particular user.
Abstract:
A device may receive data indicating a required quality of service (QoS), and may receive radio access network (RAN) information associated with a RAN, wherein the RAN information is provided by a centralized unit (CU) of the RAN. The device may provide the RAN information to a multi-access edge computing (MEC) platform, and may receive, from the MEC platform, a QoS request that requests the required QoS. The device may provide the QoS request to the CU, and may receive a QoS response to the QoS request. The device may provide the QoS response to a policy control function (PCF) of a core network, and may receive an indication of approval of the QoS response from the PCF. The device may cause, based on receiving the indication of approval, the required QoS to be implemented by the MEC platform and network devices associated with the core network.
Abstract:
An edge device may obtain, via a base station, one or more respective requests from one or more user devices to access content. The edge device may determine a total number of the one or more user devices and may determine that the total number of the one or more user devices satisfies a threshold. The edge device may determine, based on the total number of the one or more user devices satisfying the threshold, a latency requirement associated with the content and may determine whether the edge device can satisfy the latency requirement. The edge device may selectively cause, based on determining whether the edge device can satisfy the latency requirement, the edge device or a different edge device to send the content to the one or more user devices via the base station.
Abstract:
A mobility management entity device (MME) may receive a request from a user device to attach to a network. The request to attach to the network may include a user device identifier for the user device. The MME may receive, from a home subscriber server (HSS) and based on the user device identifier for the user device, information relating to the user device. The information may include at least one connection parameter. The at least one connection parameter may include at least information indicating whether a bearer should be allocated to the user device. The MME may establish a network connection for the user device based on the at least one connection parameter. The MME may cause traffic to be routed from the user device based on the at least one connection parameter.
Abstract:
A device may be configured to store advertisement control information for an advertisement. The advertisement control information may indicate a target demographic for the advertisement. The device may receive the advertisement to be provided to a user device via an operator network. The device may receive user information that indicates a demographic of a user of the user device. The device may determine a quality of service level with which to provide the advertisement to the user device. The quality of service level may be determined based on the target demographic and the demographic of the user. The device may provide the advertisement to the user device, via the operator network, at the determined quality of service level.
