Abstract: A device may receive user device application performance logs, radio access network (RAN) performance logs, and multi-access edge computing (MEC) compute logs, and may train a machine learning model with the user device application performance logs, the RAN performance logs, and the MEC compute logs. The device may identify application capacity requirements and MEC compute requirements associated with images of RAN coverage areas of RANs, and may generate labeled and normalized images of RAN coverage areas. The device may receive real time MEC compute data, RAN performance data, and user device application data, and may identify one of the labeled and normalized images of the RAN coverage areas that matches a RAN coverage area of a particular RAN. The device may predict an application capacity and MEC compute requirements for the particular RAN, and may perform one or more actions based on the application capacity and the MEC compute requirements.

Abstract: A device may receive data indicating a required quality of service (QoS), and may receive radio access network (RAN) information associated with a RAN, wherein the RAN information is provided by a centralized unit (CU) of the RAN. The device may provide the RAN information to a multi-access edge computing (MEC) platform, and may receive, from the MEC platform, a QoS request that requests the required QoS. The device may provide the QoS request to the CU, and may receive a QoS response to the QoS request. The device may provide the QoS response to a policy control function (PCF) of a core network, and may receive an indication of approval of the QoS response from the PCF. The device may cause, based on receiving the indication of approval, the required QoS to be implemented by the MEC platform and network devices associated with the core network.

Abstract: A device may receive a request for domain name system (DNS) information to be provided to a user device communicating via a visited network. The device may identify roaming policy information associated with the user device and, based on the roaming policy information, may determine that the user device is restricted from sending or receiving data via the visited network. Abstract: A quality of service traffic steering approach for multi-access edge computing (MEC) environments is disclosed. In an embodiment, a network exposure function (NEF) or similar device (e.g., MEC controller or orchestrator) monitors a quality of service (QoS) of a data session between a user equipment (UE) and an application. The NEF then can determine when the QoS of the data session does not meet a requested service level agreement (SLA). When the SLA is not met, the NEF identifies a MEC host that meets the SLA using a database of MEC applications. Based on the identified MEC host, the NEF re-routes the data session to the MEC host.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for an electronic security framework that is configured to detect anomalies, determine (or capture) forensics for those events, and enable mediation to not only address the activity causing the anomaly, but also perform processing steps to prevent the same or similar type of anomaly from occurring again at a later time. In some embodiments, as network requests are received, the disclosed framework can determine the type of activity triggered, whereby the request (e.g., packets) can be subject to a deep inspection, which can trigger the request and/or its associated device being quarantined and/or prevented from operating on the network entirely should a suspect activity that can predicate an anomaly or set of anomalies be detected. The disclosed systems and methods, therefore, provide an advanced, adaptive security backstop for existing networks in order to maintain the integrity of the operations being performed thereon.
