Abstract:
An E2PROM controller is provided for an emulation chip. An E2PROM is connected to a CPU via a memory interconnect bus. The E2PROM and the CPU are also connected to each other via a peripheral circuit interconnect bus independent of the memory interconnect bus. During emulation, the emulation chip is connected to an in-circuit emulator via an emulator interconnect bus, and the memory interconnect bus is disconnected. However, the E2PROM controller allows electrical communication through the peripheral circuit interconnect bus and thereby accesses the E2PROM as one of peripheral circuits. Accordingly, it is possible to check out whether or not a reprogramming program stored in the E2PROM is running normally.
Abstract:
In the process of control of an image scanning device that creates image data by scanning an image from a recording medium on which the image is recorded, the image scanning device is controlled to acquire first image data by scanning the image at a first scanning resolution; image type is judged on the basis of this first image data; and in the process of controlling the image scanning device to scan the image at a second scanning resolution, second image data is acquired under image acquisition conditions dependent on the image type indicated by the judgment result in the image judgment step.
Abstract:
A box-shaped rack forming an electronic device housing has a plurality of guide grooves for guiding upper and lower edges of electronic circuit packages. A plurality of dummy surface plates are pivotably mounted on a front opening portion of the rack and arranged side by side. Each dummy surface plate is biased by a spring, so that when the electronic circuit package is not inserted in the rack, the dummy surface plate is kept in abutment against the inner surface of the rack to shield a part of the front opening portion of the rack. When the electronic circuit package is inserted into the rack, the dummy surface plate is pushed by the electronic circuit package to pivot inward of the rack, and is finally replaced in position by the package surface plate mounted on the electronic circuit package. When the electronic circuit package is removed from the rack, the dummy surface plate is reversely pivoted to restore an original position and again shield the part of the front opening portion of the rack. Accordingly, even when the electronic circuit package is inserted or exchanged during the operation of the electronic device, the occurrence of electromagnetic interference and the reduction in cooling efficiency can be prevented to thereby improve the efficiency of working such as exchanging of the electronic circuit package.
Abstract:
An original color image is read to generate color image data. The color image data is converted into coordinate data including values associated with a first coordinate value and a second coordinate value in a color space. The first coordinate value is indicative of brightness. It is acquired correction data including values corresponding to the second coordinate value which are determined in accordance with the values included in the coordinate data and associated with the first coordinate value. The coordinate data is corrected with the correction data. A color image is printed with the corrected coordinate data, thereby obtaining a copied image of the original color image.
Abstract:
An ECU performs stop control for operating an engine for a prescribed time after an ignition switch is turned off. During performance of the stop control of the engine, the ECU prohibits an update of an accelerator press-down degree signal and controls an opening degree of a throttle valve such that, the opening degree of the throttle valve becomes constant regardless of an amount of pressing-down of an accelerator pedal, in order to prevent a variation in an output of the engine due to an operation of the accelerator pedal.
Abstract:
The high proof bending stress structure member of the present invention includes a thin wall frame structure member, a solidified granular material comprising a first granular material each of which is charged closely inside the thin wall frame structure member, such that one of the first granular material is in contact with another first granular material adjacent thereto, and a thermoplastic resin foam which fills the gap between each of the first granular material and which is welded to the surface of the first granular material whereby connecting the first granular material to each other, and the inner wall of the thin wall frame structure member with the first granular material.
Abstract:
A multi core system for allocating a task generated from a control system program to an appropriate CPU core and executing the task includes a trial-execution instructing part configured to cause a second CPU core to trial-execute a task which a first CPU core executes before the multi core system transfers the task from the first CPU core to the second CPU core and causes the second CPU core to execute the task, a determining part configured to determine whether an execution result by the first CPU core matches an execution result by the second CPU core, and an allocation fixing part configured to fix the second CPU core as the appropriate CPU core to which the task is allocated if the determining part determines that the execution result by the first CPU core matches the execution result by the second CPU core.

Abstract:
A color conversion method for converting color in a first color system representing color of input image data to color in a second color system representing amounts of a plurality of inks used for printing is provided. The method comprises the steps of: providing a color conversion lookup table for use in converting color component values of the first color system to color component values of the second color system; and executing color conversion to generate an output value consisting of color component values of the second color system from an input value consisting of color component values of the first color system by referencing the color conversion lookup table, wherein a same output value is generated from different input values representing different colors in predetermined color range of color in the first color system.
Abstract:
When text is taken in with a scanner, the reflection of the light from a sheet of paper, etc. causes a tinge on the sheet of paper. The tinge around each letter is printed as minute dots, and the outlines of printed letters are blurred and the clearness or distinctness of the letters are decreased. When printing text taken in through a scanner unit 30, by reducing (or reducing to zero) the ratios of occurrence of small dots in a gradient range “n” or “m” of the data for printing (CMYK signals) generated from image data (RGB signals), or converting such ratios of occurrence of small dots into the ratios of occurrence of large dots based on the weight ratio, the blur of each letter that may be caused by the small dots can be reduced, and the clearness and distinctness of each letter can be improved.
