    摘要: A Roots type blower is disclosed having rotors with twisted-shape and projections on the pitch circle. The blower is compact in the axial direction, because the projections work as gearing between the rotors. Therefor, it is not necessary to provide additional gears for driving the rotors. Each of the rotors has a twisted-shape with a relationship of n.times..theta..gtoreq.2.pi., where n is the number of leaves and .theta. is the lead angle.

    摘要: A container capable of heating its content when ignited has a container containing Japanese sake, coffee, soup or the like and an exothermic material storage chamber projected into the container. A self-combustible exothermic material consisting of a mixture of oxidant such as potassium permanganate and a combustible material such as iron powder, ferrosilicon powder or the like is charged into an innermost portion of the storage chamber. A heat insulating layer made of inorganic porous material is disposed adjacent to the exothermic material and ignition means for igniting the exothermic material is extended from the exterior of the container to the exothermic material.

    摘要: A polyetheresteramide having good heat resistance, permanent antistatic property and superior compatibility with thermoplastic resins and a resin composition containing of the polyetheresteramide are disclosed, wherein the polyetherester-amide consists essentially of a polyamide oligomer with carboxylic chain ends having a number average molecular weight between 200 and 5,000 and a bisphenol compound with oxyalkylene units having a number average molecular weight between 300 and 3,000. Antistatic resin compositions with good antistatic property and heat resistance are obtained from compositions comprising 3 to 40% by weight of the polyetheresteramide and 60 to 97% by weight of thermoplastic resins. The antistatic resin compositions can contain as compatibilizers vinyl polymers having functional groups such as carboxyl and epoxy groups or block polymers containing polyolefin blocks and aromatic vinyl polymer blocks. To further improve the antistatic property of the resin composition a composition comprising at least 97% by weight of the polyetheresteramide and at least 0.01% by weight of an alkali metal or alkaline earth metal halide can be used in the same way as the polyetheresteramide.

    摘要: Resin compositions of improved dispersibility and mechanical properties are obtained by polymerizing a polymerizable compound (A), insitu in a melted thermoplastic resin (B), in the presence of a dispersant (C) reactive or compatible with at least one of the resin (B) and polymerizate of (A).Suitable dispersants include those represented by the general formula (1) or (2)R.sub.1 --L(X--M--X--L).sub.n X--M--R.sub.2 (1)R.sub.1 --L(X--M--X--L).sub.n --R.sub.2 (2)wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are groups, such as hydrocarbyl acyl, alkoxy, hydroxyl, mercapto, amino, epoxy, isocyanate, carboxylic, carboxylic anhydride, carboxylic halide and aldehyde groups; L and M are residues of a polymer having a number average molecular weight of about 500-about 3,000,000, the difference in solubility parameter between the residue L or M and the resin (B) or polymerizate of (A) being not more than 0.5; X is a residue of a difunctional compound, such as organic diisocyanates, dicarboxylic acids, diamines, diols and diepoxides, the molecular weight of X being not more than a quater of that of L and M; and n is 0 or an integer of at least 1.
