Abstract:
A camera capable of operating in a red-eye prevention mode. The camera has an electronic flash device which is activated by a drive circuit in synchronization with the exposure. The electronic flash device also serve as a pre-light-emission device capable of performing pre-light-emission for the purpose of preventing red-eye effect. When it is judged from the photographing condition that red-eye effect may occur, a controller activates the electronic flash device to effect a pre-light-emission for reducing the size of pupils of eyes of a person to be photographed object, before the main flashing which is executed in synchronization with the exposure.
Abstract:
An improved exposure control apparatus for camera comprises a metering circuit, exposure operational circuit, correction value calculating circuit and correction operational circuit. The metering circuit meters a plural number of divisional sections of the field of an object and generates a plural number of photoelectric outputs corresponding to the respective sections of the field. The exposure operational circuit calculates an exposure value from the plural number of photoelectric outputs. The correction value calculating circuit calculates correction values for correcting the distribution characteristics of said photometric outputs relative to the distribution characteristics of illumination on the focal plane of the photographing lens of the camera at the time of photographing, the correction values corresponding to the sections of the field respectively. The correction operational circuit makes a correction to the respective photoelectric outputs in accordance with the respective correction values found by above calculation.
Abstract:
An image plane deviation amount detecting device includes means for converting the amount of lateral deviation between two object images formed by two light beams passing through two areas of the exit pupil of a focus detecting lens into an amount of image plane deviation including the sign and absolute amount thereof, whereby when utilized in an automatic focus apparatus, it is not only capable of effecting quick automatic focusing operation even when there is a response delay in the focus detecting device, but also capable of displaying the focus adjusted condition in the form of a quantitative amount of image plane deviation when utilized in a display device.

Abstract:
A mouse pad which allows a mouse ball to rotate accompanied with the movement of a mouse accurately and prevents generation of static electricity and unpleasant frictional noise during operation of the mouse and collection of dust and fluff as well as exhibiting high impact resistance strength and flexural strength. The mouse pad for improving a controllability of the mouse as a computer input device is formed from a glass having a rugged pattern surface. An average roughness of the rugged pattern surface ranges from 2 to 20 .mu.m, and preferably from 2 to 8 .mu.m. It is also preferable that the glass is formed as a crystallized glass.
