    摘要: A sensor for detecting the mass flow rate and the temperature of a fluid flow has a mass flow rate sensor having a mass flow rate sensor element, a temperature sensor having a temperature sensor element, and an interface for power supply. The sensor converts the measured values detected in analog by the mass flow rate sensor element and the temperature sensor element into digital output signals. In order to specify the simplest and most economical sensor possible for detecting the mass flow rate and the temperature of a fluid flow, at least one analog/digital converter is arranged in the sensor, which analog/digital converter converts the analog measured values of the mass flow rate sensor element and/or the analog measured value of the temperature sensor element into digital output signals and provides the digital output signals at a single digital interface.

The sensor chip is constructed as a microelectromechanical system and has a sensor element, an electronic evaluation circuit and an electronic oscillator. The sensor chip is fastened to a carrier element using an adhesive. In order to specify an air mass meter which makes it possible to evaluate data in a particularly reliable and accurate manner, the sensor chip is divided into a first region and a second region. The sensor chip is fastened to the carrier element using the adhesive solely in the first region, and the sensor element and the oscillator are arranged in the second region.

    摘要: A sensor for detecting the mass flow rate and the temperature of a fluid flow has a mass flow rate sensor having a mass flow rate sensor element, a temperature sensor having a temperature sensor element, and an interface for power supply. In the event of a failure of the power supply, the sample-and-hold stage and the output stage are provided with power by the storage storing electrical energy, such that the measurement value most recently stored in the sample-and-hold stage is provided in the signal line by the output stage until the failure of the power source has ended and a new measurement value is stored in the sample-and-hold stage. No electric power is supplied to the sensor element by the storage storing electrical energy in the event of a failure of the power supply.

    摘要: A method for operating an air mass sensor arranged in the intake section of an internal combustion engine and configured to measure the mass of the air flowing through the intake section includes the air mass sensor detecting a stationary state of the internal combustion engine using an element for evaluating measurement signals generated by an air mass sensor element, and, in response to detection of a stationary state, switching the air mass sensor element into a second operating mode that reduces contamination of the air mass sensor element. The second operating mode permits at least one measurement of the air mass flowing in the intake section, as a result of which the air mass sensor itself detects a starting of the internal combustion engine using the element for evaluating the measurement signals generated by the air mass sensor element.
