    Abstract: A system used to dislodge and, if necessary, sever a tubular string that is stuck within a cased wellbore. The system utilizes a jar, a plurality of plugs, and a tubular severance device. Components of the system are carried to their respective desired downhole positions by downward fluid flow within the wellbore. The jar is configured to jar the string in an effort to dislodge the string from its stuck point. The plugs are configured to fill open perforations formed in the casing in order to direct the fluid toward the stuck point and away from the perforations. If the string cannot be freed by the jar, the tubular severance device is deployed within the string above the stuck point. Detonation of the device severs the string above the stuck point.

    Abstract: A downhole tool configured to vary the amount of pressurized fluid delivered to other tools incorporated into a bottom hole assembly, such as a mud motor. The tool comprises an inner element installed within an outer sleeve. The inner element is configured to move between three different positions relative to the outer sleeve. In a first position, pressurized fluid is diverted away from downstream tools within the bottom hole assembly. In a second and third position, pressurized fluid is directed towards downstream tools. Movement of the tool between the different positions is caused by varying external forces applied to the tool.

    Abstract: A perforating gun for use in oil and gas operations. The gun is carried to a desired area of a wellbore using only fluid pressure. The gun comprises a charge housing disposed within a removable sleeve. The charge housing comprises a plurality of shaped charges in communication with one or more sensors. The sensors are programmed to initiate the detonation sequence of the shaped charges upon measuring set parameters. Upon detonation, the gun fragments into a plurality of pieces that may be washed away from the detonation site.

    Abstract: A tool for cleaning out the lower end of a cased wellbore having an installed production string. The tool is lowered down the production string until it projects from an end of the production string and into the wellbore. High pressure fluid is then sprayed from the tool's fluid openings into nearby portions of the wellbore. Once cleaning operations are complete, the tool is carried back to the ground surface using subterranean fluid pressure.

    Abstract: A tubular component configured to be interposed between parts of a drill string used with a cased wellbore. A lobe is supported on and projects from an outer surface of the tubular component. The lobe causes the tubular component to have a cross-sectional profile that is asymmetric relative to an axis of symmetry of the drill string. As the drill string and tubular component rotate, the lobe contacts debris within the wellbore. The lobe also causes the drill string to rotate eccentrically, helping to reduce friction between the drill string and wellbore and dislodge a stuck drill string.
