Abstract: A method, wireless device and network node for performing sounding reference signal (SRS) transmission. According to one aspect a method includes receiving a definition of one or more SRS resource sets to be configured, comprising at least one SRS transmission setting. The method further includes receiving an indication of a selected SRS resource set to use for a SRS transmission, from the one or more configured SRS resource sets and determining a precoding configuration for the SRS transmission based on the selected SRS resource set and the at least one SRS transmission setting. The method also includes transmitting a SRS according to the determined precoding configuration.

Abstract: There is provided a method, in a wireless device, for transmitting a reference signal. The method comprises: receiving a configuration via Radio Resource Control (RRC) from a network node, the configuration comprising a list of slot offset values configured for a Sounding Reference Signal (SRS) resource set; receiving Downlink Control Information (DCI) triggering the SRS resource set, wherein the DCI contains a slot offset bitfield for indicating one of the slot offset values in the list of slot offset values and wherein each entry of the list of slot offset values corresponds to a codepoint of the slot offset bitfield; and transmitting a reference signal using SRS resources configured in the triggered SRS resource set based on the indicated slot offset value.

Abstract: There is provided mechanisms for polarized reception of reference signals. A method is performed by a terminal device. The terminal device is equipped with an antenna array having dual-polarized antenna elements. The antenna array is connected to a baseband chain in the terminal device. The method comprises receiving, during a beam management procedure with a TRP, two reference signals transmitted in one OFDM symbol each from the same TRP port within a slot. The two reference signals are received using a filter with a first polarization for a first of the two reference signals and with a second polarization for a second of the two reference signals. The second polarization is orthogonal to the first polarization.

Abstract: A method for receive (RX) beam switching is provided. The method may be performed by a user equipment (UE) (420). The method includes using a current RX beam (412) to receive a transmission from a network node (422). The method further includes selecting (706) a new RX beam (414) to replace the current RX beam (412). The method further includes, after selecting (706) the new RX beam (414), transmitting (708-710) a channel state information (CSI) report to the network node (422). The method further includes, after selecting (706) the new RX beam (414) and before transmitting (708-710) the CSI report, continuing to use the current RX beam (412) to receive transmissions from the network node (422). The method further includes, after transmitting (708-710) the CSI report to the network node (422), replacing (714) the current RX beam (412) with the new RX beam (414) such that the new RX beam (414) instead of the current RX beam (412) is used to receive transmissions from the network node.

The method comprises obtaining link quality estimates of a radio signal conveyed to the first radio transceiver device from a second radio transceiver device by means of at least a first beam taken from a first beam set and a second beam. The second beam is wider than the first beam. The method comprises selecting which one of the first beam and the second beam to use for continued communications of radio signals with the second radio transceiver device in accordance with a comparison between the link quality estimates of the first beam and compensated link quality estimates of the second beam.
