Of the tracks constructing one field, a high frequency component of data or outer code that is less affected by a reproducing error is recorded on respective end tracks that have the large possibility that original recorded data will be broken by a mis-tracking upon editing. Therefore, even when an edit point is displaced by the mis-tracking upon editing so that the original recorded data is broken to cause an error to occur, an amount that a picture quality of a reproduced picture is deteriorated when the error occurs can be reduced considerably.
