摘要: An exhaust muffler for an internal combustion engine included in a motorcycle includes a perforated inner pipe (32), an outer pipe (31) coaxially surrounding the inner pipe (32), and a glass wool mat (33) packed in a space between the inner pipe (32) and the outer pipe (31). A three-layer protective structure is formed by winding an inner stainless steel wire mesh (34) wound around the inner pipe (32), winding a stainless steel wool mat (35) around the inner stainless steel wire mesh (934), and winding an outer stainless steel wire mesh (36) around the stainless steel wool mat (35). The glass wool mat (33) is wound around the three-layer structure. The three-layer structure extends the life of the glass wool mat (33) even if the temperature and pressure of the exhaust gas discharged by the internal combustion engine increase.

摘要: Synthetic yellow iron oxide (.alpha.-FeOOH) is dispersed in an aqueous 0 - 10N alkali solution and the resultant dispersion is subjected to a hydrothermal treatment at 100.degree.- 250.degree.C. This treatment improves the synthetic yellow iron oxide in that it converts imperfect crystals present in said iron oxide into perfect crystals, changes particles thereof from the shape of needles to that of rods, makes the particle size substantially uniform and heightens the resistivity thereof to heat by about 50.degree.C. The modified synthetic yellow iron oxide thus obtained is innoxious and can be used as a pigment in paints.

Representative sun visor for vehicles includes a sun visor body, a support shaft, a sliding member, a clip member and a clamping device. The clamping device accommodates a clearance in a circumferential direction between the support shaft and the sliding member and prevents relative rotation of the support shaft and the sliding member. The clamping device is mounted to the sliding member and rotates together with the sliding member.

摘要: In a vehicle front structure (10), a cross member (52) which is disposed above paired side members (12) includes vehicle width-direction both end portions extending toward a rear side of the vehicle. The cross member (52) is connected with vehicle front-side portions of the paired suspension towers (42) at edges of the extending portions. Therefore, when a vehicle has a frontal collision at high speed, a collision load applied to the cross member (52) can be effectively received by the paired suspension towers (42), and can be transmitted to the paired suspensions. Thus, the cross member (52) can effectively receive the collision load, and can efficiently transmit the collision load to the rear side of the vehicle.

摘要: The present invention relates to a sun visor for a vehicle and a method of manufacturing the sun visor. The structure of the sun visor is complicated and the cost thereof is increased when an elastically compressive elastic body is installed between both first and second core split bodies of a core body to prevent the wrinkles from occurring in the vicinity of the corner fused parts of the skins. In view of the above problem, an object of the present invention is to prevent wrinkles from occurring near the corner fused parts of skins with a relatively simple structure. In the present invention, a corner tension part, for preventing the displacement of the corner fused part toward the corner part of the core body, is disposed between the corner part of the core body and the core fused part of the skins. Thus, the displacement of the corner fused part of the skins toward the corner parts of the core body can be prevented by the corner tension part, thereby preventing the wrinkles from occurring in the corner fused part of the skins or in the vicinity thereof.

A movable support member is movable along a second guide rail and is pivotally coupled to the linearly movable member. The visor body is movable between a storage position and a first light shielding position along the windshield. In addition, the visor support may include a support member and a guide device. The guide device allows the visor body to move along a predetermined path between a first light shielding position and a second light shielding position along a side window, while one side of the visor body faces the interior of a vehicle cabin.

摘要: Attachment devices are taught that preferably include a main body, a first engagement mechanism provided on the main body, and a second engagement mechanism provided on the main body. The attachment device is attached to a panel lining sheet by engaging the first engagement mechanism with a receiving hole, to thereby produce a panel lining sheet assembly. After the panel lining sheet assembly is overlaid on a vehicle panel, the attachment device is attached to the vehicle panel by engaging the second engagement mechanism with a mounting hole of the vehicle panel. Thus, the attachment device can be secured to the vehicle panel with the panel lining sheet interleaved between the attachment device and the vehicle panel.

A fixed yoke, a movable yoke and an anvil-side yoke are connected to two columns so that all the yokes can pivot relative to the columns and the movable yoke can further slide relative to the columns to form a parallel crank mechanism. The fixed yoke is provided with a threaded shaft for moving the movable yoke. V grooves are formed in opposed surfaces of the movable yoke and the anvil-side yoke. A plurality of cuts are formed at the portion where the V-grooves are formed in parallel to the columns. The cuts define plate members having V-grooved gripping portions meshing with each other.

The vial rubber stopper includes: a cap portion having a flange; a piercing area formed to have a recess at a top surface of the cap portion and configured to traverse longitudinally the cap portion in an axial direction from the recess to a bottom surface of the cap portion; and a leg portion formed on the bottom surface of said cap portion in a way of extending downward and located outside the piercing area with respect to an axial center of said cap portion. The piercing area is formed of rubber having rubber hardness from 20 to 35, and the top surface other than the recess of the cap portion is formed of rubber having rubber hardness from 58 to 90.
