An organic light-emitting display device and a method of manufacturing the same. The organic light-emitting display device has a structure including an organic layer between a pixel electrode and an opposite electrode, the organic layer including a emissive layer and an insulating layer defining a light emission area. Accordingly, the insulating layer included in the organic layer functions as a pixel-defining layer, and thus, “edge open”, which is generated when forming an emissive layer on a thick pixel-defining layer according to the comparable art, may be reduced or prevented.

Thus, the laser irradiation device can maximize emission efficiency and enhance the quality of a transfer layer pattern when an organic layer of the OLED is formed using the laser irradiation device.

The laser irradiation device includes: a light source to produce a laser beam; a collimation lens disposed adjacent to the light source; and an asymmetrical micro lens array disposed adjacent to the collimation lens. The method includes: providing a substrate having a first electrode; providing a donor substrate for laser transfer, including a sequentially stacked a base layer, a light-to-heat conversion layer, and a transfer layer; disposing the donor substrate on the substrate so that the transfer layer faces the substrate; and irradiating a predetermined region of the base layer using a laser irradiation device having a light source, a collimation lens, and an asymmetrical micro lens array, to transfer the transfer layer onto the substrate, and forming an organic layer pattern on the substrate.

A laser patterning apparatus for handling a donor film and improving compression uniformity between the donor film and an acceptor substrate is provided. The laser patterning apparatus includes: a stage that supports an acceptor substrate; a shielding mask that is placed on the acceptor substrate to form a pattern and is attached to a donor film on one surface thereof; a laser gun that is disposed at an upper part of the stage to radiate laser light to a portion of the donor film through the pattern of the shielding mask; a pressing member that corresponds to a portion of the shielding mask; and an actuator that is connected to one side of the pressing member to press the pressing member.
