    摘要: The various implementations described herein include methods and systems for coding video. In one aspect, a video bitstream includes a current image frame having a current coding block and signals a first syntax element for a residual template cross-component residual model (RT-CCRM) mode. When the RT-CCRM mode is enabled, the computing system identifies, in the current coding block, a first chroma sample and one or more luma samples corresponding to the first chroma sample, determines one or more residuals of the one or more luma samples in the current coding block, and applies a residual filter corresponding to the RT-CCRM mode to generate a first residual of the first chroma sample based on the residuals of the one or more luma samples. The computing system reconstructs the current image frame by compensating a predicted chroma sample with at least the first residual to reconstruct the first chroma sample.

    摘要: Aspects of the disclosure provide methods and apparatuses for video coding. A method for video decoding includes receiving a coded video bitstream that includes prediction information of a current block in a current picture. The prediction information indicates that an adaptive motion vector prediction (AMVP) mode and an adaptive motion vector resolution (AMVR) mode are applied to the current block. A set of motion vector (MV) resolutions in the AMVR mode is available for the current block. The method includes determining respective template matching (TM) costs corresponding to each of a plurality of MV resolutions in the set of MV resolutions based on the plurality of MV resolutions and motion information of the current block, reordering the plurality of MV resolutions based on the determined TM costs, selecting an MV resolution from the reordered plurality of MV resolutions, and reconstructing the current block based on the selected MV resolution.

    摘要: This disclosure relates to secondary transform of video blocks with adaptive kernel options. For example, a method for decoding a video block in a video stream is disclosed. The method may include comprising parsing and processing the video stream to generate: a set of secondary transform coefficients associated with the video block; an intra prediction mode associated with the video block; and a kernel index indicating a secondary transform kernel among a group of secondary transform kernels. The method may further include identifying the group of secondary transform kernels based on the intra prediction mode; and performing an inverse secondary transform of the set of secondary transform coefficients to generate primary transform coefficients of the video block based on the secondary transform kernel among the group of secondary transform kernels identified by the kernel index. The quantity of kernels in the group of secondary transform kernels depends on at least one of: the intra prediction mode associated with the video block; a size of the video block; or a primary transform type associated with the video block.
