摘要:
A fire-resistant glazing assembly comprises two glass sheets (1, 2) connected together along their edges by a spacer (3) and a water-containing interlayer (4) between the two panes (1, 2). The spacer (3) is made of silicone rubber. A bead (6) of a heat-activated foaming material is advantageously placed between the spacer (3) and the adhesive sealing material (7) serving to provide the peripheral seal.

A fire-resistant glazing panel comprises at least two glass sheets, between which is placed a transparent fire-resistant material made of a cured alkali metal polysilicate hydrate. At least one glass sheet is provided, on its surface which is in contact with the fire-resistant material, with a primer layer, the adhesion of which to the fire-resistant layer decreases at the temperatures of the test of behaviour towards fire. At the temperature of the test of behaviour towards fire, the glass sheet exposed to the fire separates completely from the fire-resistant material. For this reason, the polysilicate fire-resistant shield remains intact, even when the glass sheet exposed to the fire shatters and when the fragments fall off.

A glazing assembly for protecting against fire exhibits at least two panes adhesively bonded together via a spacer and a water-comprising intermediate layer which fills the intermediate space between the panes. The spacer is composed of a string, applied by extrusion over the peripheral region of a pane, made of a butyl polymer obtained from 40 to 65% by weight of polyisobutylene, from 10 to 25% by weight of carbon black and from 10 to 40% by weight of filler. Within these ranges, the composition is chosen so that the butyl polymer exhibits, at a temperature of 80° C., a transverse or shear modulus of elasticity of G* of 1.2 to 2.2 MPa.

A fire-resistant laminated glass pane assembly comprises a glass-ceramic pane resistant to high temperatures and having rough light-diffusing surfaces, the said pane being joined, on each of its two faces, to a silicate glass pane by means of transparent intermediate layers having a refractive index corresponding to the refractive index of the glass and the glass-ceramic. Transparent intermediate plies consist of a thermoplastic polymer having a high splinter fixation effect, and the silicate glass panes consist of tempered float glass. Fire-retarding glasses of this type not only have a high fire-retarding effect, but also withstand the so-called extinguishing water test and, moreover, have safety glass properties with increased safety in respect of injuries caused by splinters.
摘要:
A fire-resistant glazing assembly has at least two laminated panes between which a transparent layer made of a hydrated alkali polysilicate is placed. The hydrated alkali polysilicate contains no organic antifreeze agent. Thus, on the one hand, better resistance of the interlayer to clouding due to UV radiation and, on the other hand, greater rigidity of the interlayer compound as well as good adhesion of the panes to the interlayer in a fire are obtained.

The heat protection element comprises carrier elements, for example in the form of glass plates. In an interspace between, in each instance, two glass plates a protection layer comprising a cured polysilicate which is formed of alkali silicate and at least one curing agent is disposed. In the polysilicate, a molar ratio of silicon dioxide to alkali metal oxide is set to be greater than 4:1. The starting composition for the polysilicate is a free-flowable composition having a water content of up to 60 percent and capable of being introduced into the interspace between two carrier elements. After curing the composition, the high water content is retained and the polysilicate has nevertheless good inherent strength and adhesion on the carrier elements.

Fire-retardant sheet element can be composed of several fire protection glass plates (2, 3). Lateral edges (9, 10) of adjacent glass plates (2, 3) therein abut one another. Into the interspace (26) between lateral edges (9, 10) a sealing configuration (7) is installed. This comprises an addition element (22) and elastic sealing elements (23, 24). The glass plates (2, 3) comprise several glass panes (16) and interspaced fire protection layers (18). These fire protection layers (18) do not extend up to the edges (9, 10) and are sealed in the regions of the lateral edges with a barrier material (20). No additional frame elements for covering the interspace (26) and for sealing are necessary.
