摘要: Disclosed is a dummy terminal, which is capable of being inserted in a lockable manner into a connector-terminal socket, instead of a cable connector terminal, so as to prevent a cable connector terminal from being erroneously inserted into an improper or unauthorized connector-terminal socket which has no cable connector terminal connected thereto. The dummy terminal 10 comprises a dummy terminal body 12, a thin plate member 13, an engagement member 14 and a set screw 30. The dummy terminal body 12 is generally composed of a grooved frame defined by opposite side walls 12A, 12B and top wall 12C, and a front wall 12D formed at a front end of the grooved frame. The thin plate member 13 is generally composed of an anchor portion 13A to be mounted on the front wall 12D, and a restraint portion 13B for placing an engaged state of the engagement member 14 under restraint.

摘要: Disclosed is a lock assembly 10 adapted to be detachably attached to a LAN-cable connector 106 which is integrally fixed to a LAN cable 100 and adapted to be removably inserted into a socket 102 of a computer 102 and latched at an inserted position thereof. The lock assembly is operable, when attached to the LAN-cable connector, to allow the LAN-cable connector 106 after being inserted into the socket 104 to be locked at the inserted position, and, when detached from the LAN-cable connector 106, to allow the LAN-cable connector 106 to be removed from the socket 102. The lock assembly of the present invention can substantially preclude a PC from being moved out so as to obtain an antitheft effect in a simplified structure.

摘要: This invention provides a bottom removal-type paper supply apparatus used in an image reading apparatus or the like which can always accurately supply paper into the image reading apparatus regardless of whether the amount of paper stacked on a paper support base is small or large. In order to transport paper stacked on the paper support base into the apparatus, a first pickup roller to which a pressing force can be applied by a pressing roller and a second pickup roller at a central portion of the paper support base which assists the first pickup roller are provided. The second pickup roller is provided with a shutter. By closing the shutter when the paper stacked on the paper support base is less than or equal to a prescribed number of sheets or weight, the pickup roller and the paper can be prevented from contacting.

摘要: In a flat type image forming apparatus formed by electron emitting devices, the invention is to provide a light emitting substrate, capable of relaxing influence of an abnormal discharge on the electron emitting devices. On a glass substrate 1, a resistor member 4 extending in X- and Y-direction, and a black member 6 extending in X- and Y-directions are formed. Phosphors 5 are positioned in apertures of the black member 6, and are covered by metal backs 7 divided in X- and Y-directions. The metal backs 7 and the resistor member 4 are electrically connected through the black member 6, and the resistance between the metal backs 7 is defined by the resistor member 4 in the Y-direction in which the adjacent metal backs 7 have a wider gap than in the X-direction.

摘要: A cleaning agent and a cleaning process for efficiently removing noxious halogen-based gases such as fluorine, chlorine, boron trifluoride, boron trichloride and tungsten hexafluoride from exhaust gases from semiconductor fabrication processes. The cleaning agent is produced by adherently adding alkali metal formate and/or alkaline earth metal formate to activated carbon, or adherently adding alkali metal hydroxide and/or alkaline earth metal hydroxide together with alkali metal formate and/or alkaline earth metal formate to activated carbon. By exposing exhaust gases to the cleaning agent, noxious halogen-based gases in the exhaust gases are efficiently removed with little desorption of halogen-based gases adsorbed on the cleaning agent. Also, the cleaning treatment is further improved in safety and efficiency by a pre-treatment cleaning agent comprising a metal oxide or a metal hydroxide and a post-treatment cleaning agent prepared by adherently adding sodium formate to a metal oxide.
