Abstract: A user equipment (UE) is described. The UE includes a higher layer processor which is configured to acquire a dedicated Radio Resource Control (RRC) message. The UE also includes physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) receiving circuitry configured to monitor a PDCCH with a downlink control information (DCI) format which is used for scheduling of a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH). The DCI format includes a time domain resource assignment field of which value indicates a timing of the PDSCH. The value is one of multiple possible values defined in a table. The multiple possible values include at least a first value and a second value. The first value is a predefined fixed value. The second value is configured by the dedicated RRC message.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) is described. The UE includes a higher layer processor configured to acquire a first dedicated radio resource control (RRC) configuration and a second dedicated RRC configuration. The first dedicated RRC configuration specifies a configuration of a first physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) which indicates a slot format. The second dedicated RRC configuration specifies a configuration of repetition of a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH). The UE also includes PDCCH receiving circuitry configured to monitor the first PDCCH. The UE further includes PUSCH transmitting circuitry configured to transmit the PUSCH with the repetition. In a case that the first PDCCH indicates that a symbol for the PUSCH in a slot is other than either downlink or uplink, the PUSCH is not transmitted in the slot and the PUSCH in the slot is counted as one of the repetition.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) is described. Receiving circuitry is configured to receive downlink control information which is used for scheduling of a physical downlink shared channel and to receive, on the physical downlink shared channel, a random access response including a random access response grant. Transmitting circuitry is configured to perform, based on the random access response grant, a transmission on a physical uplink shared channel. In a case that a second value is indicated by using the information included in the downlink control information, a plurality of indices of the physical resource block(s) for the physical uplink shared channel is indicated by using the random access response grant.

Abstract: A wireless terminal (26) is capable of wireless communications with a node (22) of a radio access network over a radio interface. A method in the wireless terminal (26) comprises providing both a first set of radio resources (56) and a second set of radio resources (58). The first set of radio resources (56) is which may be used by the wireless terminal when performing a device-to-device (D2D/SL) communication with another wireless terminal when the wireless terminal is within coverage of a radio access network. The second set of radio resources (58) is which may be used by the wireless terminal when performing a device-to-device (D2D/SL) communication with the other wireless terminal when the wireless terminal is not within coverage of the radio access network. The method further comprises allowing the wireless terminal (26), when still within coverage of the radio access network, to use the second set of resources (58) for the device-to-device (D2D/SL) communication in conjunction with a random access procedure.

Abstract: A method for performing constellation superposition by an evolved Node B (eNB) is described. The method includes determining an admissible data constellation for a second user equipment (UE) based on a data constellation of a first UE. The first UE and the second UE share the same time-frequency resources. The method also includes sending an indication that superposition coded modulation is being employed by the first UE and the second UE. The method further includes sending modulation and coding schemes (MCSs) and/or transmission power percentages used by each of the first UE and the second UE to the other UE.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) is described. The UE is configured to transfer a dedicated radio resource control (RRC) configuration message including information indicating a minimum required window size for look-ahead (LA) processing. The UE is configured to transfer information indicating an uplink (UL) quality report. The UE is configured to acquire information indicating an LA enable signal, an LA window, and an UL quality threshold. The UE is configured to transmit the PUSCH in a first cell group upon detection of the PDCCH. If the PUSCH is transmitted within the LA window, a first transmit power of the PUSCH is derived using a second transmit power of a physical uplink channel of a second cell group. If the PUSCH is transmitted outside the LA window, the first transmit power of the PUSCH is derived without using the second transmit power of the physical uplink channel of the second cell group.

Abstract: A UE includes receiving circuitry that receives a radio resource control (RRC) message including information indicating a subcarrier spacing of a block comprising, at least, a primary synchronization signal (PSS) and a secondary synchronization signal (SSS) and a physical broadcast channel (PBCH). The receiving circuitry also receives, based on the information, the block comprising, at least, the PSS and the SSS and the PBCH. The information is used only for a case where the UE is in a RRC connected. In a case that the information is not configured, the receiving circuitry receives, based on a default value of the subcarrier spacing, the block comprising, at least, the PSS and the SSS and the PBCH. The default value of the subcarrier spacing is given based on a frequency band.
