    Abstract: The present invention relates to techniques for a sensor network, machine to machine (M2M), machine type communication (MTC), and Internet of things (IoT). The present invention can be utilized in the technique-based intelligent services (smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car or connected car, healthcare, digital education, retail business, security and safety-related service and the like). The air-conditioning control method for the electronic device, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: determining the rate of temperature change on the basis of changes in the temperature measured for the first time; acquiring first density information on the basis of the determined rate of temperature change and the location information on the location at which the temperature change is measured; and controlling air-conditioning according to the first density information.

    Abstract: An electronic apparatus is provided. The electronic apparatus includes a communication interface, a memory, and a processor. The processor according to the disclosure is configured to acquire weather information and information on a space where an air conditioner is installed, train a neural network model based on the weather information and the information on the space, based on acquiring driving information of the air conditioner and a measured temperature of the space through the communication interface, input the measured temperature of the space and the external temperature into the neural network model and acquire predicted temperature information per time for the space, determine whether a defect exists in the air conditioner based on the predicted temperature information and the measured temperature of the space, and based on determining that a defect exists in the air conditioner, generate a notification signal.

    Abstract: Provided are an electronic device and an air conditioning system capable of reducing an amount of power consumption while maintaining cooling capacity of the air conditioning system, by adaptively adjusting cold water temperature and coolant temperature in consideration of a change of a load. The method for controlling temperature and humidity by a temperature and humidity control device includes acquiring at least one piece of environmental information and user biometric information, determining, based on the acquired at least one piece of the environmental information and the user biometric information, control information that determines statistical information to be within a certain range, and controlling an HVAC system based on the determined control information.
