The present disclosure relates to an electronic device and methods for sharing contents. A first electronic device includes a communication interface, and a processor configured to obtain a request for running a content sharing service with a second electronic device, generate connection identification information using first user identification information corresponding to the first electronic device and second user identification information corresponding to the second electronic device, in response to the request, and transmit the connection identification information to a first external electronic device for providing the content sharing service between the first electronic device and the second electronic device, using the communication interface.

The present disclosure relates to an electronic apparatus for determining a relay apparatus and a method thereof. An electronic apparatus according to various embodiments includes a communication unit that transmits and receives data. The electronic apparatus also includes a controller that determines whether disconnection between an electronic apparatus operating as a relay apparatus and at least one client apparatus is expected. The control also, if the disconnection is expected, informs the at least one client apparatus of the expected disconnection. The control also determines whether a status of the electronic apparatus satisfies a condition for a change to a new relay apparatus and informs the at least one client apparatus that the electronic apparatus no longer operates as the relay apparatus if the condition for a change to a new relay apparatus is satisfied. The control also determines any one of the at least one client apparatus as the new relay apparatus. The control also informs the at least one client apparatus of the determination on the new relay apparatus. Further, other embodiments are possible.

An apparatus and a method for retransmitting data in a wireless communication system using channel bonding are provided. The method for retransmitting data includes transmitting data by mapping the data to at least two channels according to the channel bonding, and retransmitting the data by changing a mapping scheme of the data to the at least two channels.

Provided is a method for forming a Wi-Fi Peer-to-Peer (P2P) group using Wi-Fi Direct. The method includes acquiring device information of other P2P device corresponding to a connection target by P2P devices that will form a Wi-Fi P2P group; checking a type of the other P2P devices based on the acquired device information; adjusting an intent value of a P2P device depending on the checked type of the other P2P devices; and forming a Wi-Fi P2P group based on the adjusted intent values of the P2P devices.
