Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method for UDC based communication in a wireless communication system. The method includes detecting a handover event or a re-establishment event for a UDC bearer, between a UE and a network. The method further includes performing a first determining operation for determining whether a PDCP status report is received by the UE from the network. Thereafter, the method includes transmitting uncompressed data packets until the PDCP status report is received by the UE. The method further includes performing a second determining operation for determining whether a PDCP timer associated with a reordering window of the PDCP layer is running or stopped. The method further includes transmitting compressed data packets based on a result of the first or second determination operation.

Abstract: Some example embodiments provide a method performed by a dual subscriber identification module (SIM) dual standby (DSDS) controller for efficiently sharing radio frequency (RF) resources in a DSDS device, the method comprising: receiving, when a data session is ongoing in a first SIM, a request from a second SIM for access to the RF resources for performing an activity at the second SIM having higher priority than the data session; determining a scaled throughput for the first SIM; determining an RF rejection percentage for the second SIM based on the scaled throughput; and providing the second SIM with access to the RF resources based on the RF rejection percentage.

The display engine displays, on the display screen, at least one of one or more appropriate candidate messages based on a priority associated with the appropriate candidate messages in the generated priority list of candidate messages.

The methods include establishing, by the DSDS device, a Radio Resource Control (RRC) connection over the first SIM and performing data communication with a network entity. Further, the methods include detecting, by the DSDS device, an activity upcoming over the second SIM. Further, the methods include transmitting, by the DSDS device, a connection suspend indication to the network entity to suspend the data communication over the first SIM, wherein the connection suspend indication is transmitted on one of a Layer-1 control signaling channel, a Layer-2 control signaling channel, and a Layer-3 control signaling channel.
