    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to 5th generation (5G) or pre-5G communication systems supporting higher data transmission rates than 4th generation communication systems (e.g., Long-Term Evolution). A method to be performed by a repeater device includes receiving, from a base station in the wireless communication system, control information including configuration information indicating a repeater index list, receiving, from the base station, a downlink signal, identifying whether an index of the downlink signal is included in the repeater index list, based on identifying that the index of the downlink signal is included in the repeater index list, amplifying the downlink signal, and transmitting a repeater beamforming signal that is generated by applying a beamforming weight to the amplified downlink signal, and, based on identifying that the index of the downlink signal is not included in the repeater index list, amplifying the downlink signal and transmitting the amplified downlink signal.

    Abstract: A transmission method for communication by a transmission apparatus of a wireless communication system performing wireless communication in a beamforming scheme is disclosed. The method may include assigning identifiers to all transmission beam directions in which transmission is possible and transmitting a reference signal with a beam identifier assigned in each direction, when identifier information of a beam direction, which allows reception from a reception apparatus, and error detection information are received, examining the error detection information to examine whether an error exists, and transmitting a response signal to the reception apparatus according to whether the examined error exists, and transmitting and receiving data on the basis of the received beam information when the error does not exist, as a result of the examination of the error detection information.

The base station may also generate the DMRS and the PCRS, based on whether the first precoding is applied to the DMRS and the PCRS, and transmit data, the DMRS, and the PCRS to the terminal.
