Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a communication technique and system thereof that fuse a 5G communication system with IoT technology for supporting a higher data rate than a 4G system. The present disclosure may be applied to intelligent services (e.g., smart homes, smart buildings, smart cities, smart cars or connected cars, healthcare, digital education, retail, security and safety related services, etc.) on the basis of 5G communication technology and IoT related technology. A method for controlling a base station according to one embodiment of the present invention may comprise the steps of: generating a first packet including data to be transmitted to a terminal on an unlicensed band; determining whether a channel sensing for using the unlicensed band is completed when the generation of the first packet is completed; and as a result of the determination, when the channel sensing for using the unlicensed band is not completed, omitting a transmission of the first packet.

Abstract: The present invention presents a method by which a base station notifies a terminal of information on a tone into which interference caused by surrounding cells greatly flows, and by which a terminal uses the information so as to efficiently remove the interference caused by the surrounding cells and to demodulate data channels, such that the method improves reception performance. Particularly, when the surrounding cells transmit cell-specific reference signals, the base station transmits, to the terminal, location information of the cell-specific reference signals transmitted by the surrounding cells, and the terminal demodulates the received data except for a data channel tone in which cell-specific reference signals of the surrounding cells greatly cause interference. The present invention can improve data reception performance by efficiently removing the interference caused by the surrounding cells.

A method to be performed by a repeater device includes receiving, from a base station in the wireless communication system, control information including configuration information indicating a repeater index list, receiving, from the base station, a downlink signal, identifying whether an index of the downlink signal is included in the repeater index list, based on identifying that the index of the downlink signal is included in the repeater index list, amplifying the downlink signal, and transmitting a repeater beamforming signal that is generated by applying a beamforming weight to the amplified downlink signal, and, based on identifying that the index of the downlink signal is not included in the repeater index list, amplifying the downlink signal and transmitting the amplified downlink signal.
