According to various embodiments, the system includes a touch sensor positioned in a handle of the electric bicycle, configured to sense whether or not a user has touched the touch sensor, and configured to output a touch signal, and a controller configured to control driving of a driving motor. The controller is further configured to drive the driving motor only in the case in which the user's touch is sensed from the touch sensor.
