Abstract: A display apparatus includes a substrate including a unit area having a quadrangular shape, and a first sub-pixel, a second sub-pixel, and a third sub-pixel that are spaced apart from each other in the unit area and respectively emit lights of different colors. The unit area includes a virtual octagon that has a center area overlapping a center area of the unit area and has sides spaced apart from a boundary of the unit area. The first sub-pixel, the second sub-pixel, and the third sub-pixel are disposed inside the virtual octagon. Each of boundaries of at least two of the first sub-pixel, the second sub-pixel, and the third sub-pixel overlaps at least one of the sides of the virtual octagon.
