    Abstract: An all-around display device according to embodiments includes a display panel including first to J-th display areas having pixels and respectively corresponding to surfaces, a gate driver for providing a gate signal to the display panel through first to N-th gate lines, and for providing an initialization signal to the display panel through first to N-th initialization lines, an emission driver for providing an emission control signal to the display panel through first to N-th emission control lines, a display area control driver for providing first to J-th global control signals respectively corresponding to the first to J-th display areas to selectively determine light emission of each of the first to J-th display areas, and a data driver for providing a data voltage to the display panel through data lines, wherein J is an integer that is greater than 1, and N is an integer that is greater than J.

    Abstract: A display device is disclosed. In one aspect, the display device includes a first pixel disposed in an odd numbered pixel column and in a first pixel row, a second pixel disposed in an even numbered pixel column and in the first pixel row and a data line disposed between the odd and even numbered pixel columns and configured to apply a plurality of data voltages to the first and second pixels. The display device also includes a first odd number scan line configured to transmit a first odd number scan signal to the first pixel during a first data writing period, a first even number scan line configured to transmit a first even number scan signal to the second pixel during a second data writing period, and a second scan line configured to transmit a second scan signal to the first and second pixels during an initialization period.

    Abstract: A display apparatus includes a display panel and a driving circuit. The display panel includes pixels. Each of the pixels is connected to one of gate lines and one of data lines. The driving circuit drives the gate lines and the data lines to display an image on the display panel. The driving circuit alternately provides a first polarity data driving signal and a second polarity data driving signal to each of the plurality of data lines. During an asymmetrical mode, the first polarity data driving signal is provided to first data lines of the data lines during a first frame period before a blank period begins, and the second polarity data driving signal is provided to the first data lines during a second frame period after the blank period ends. The second frame period excludes the blank period.
