    摘要: A bicycle system includes controller devices. Each controller device includes at least one respective input element configured to receive input from a user. The system includes operation-enacting devices. Each operation-enacting device is configured to enact at least one respective operation on the bicycle. The system includes a network coordinator device configured to (i) establish a wireless network for communications between the network coordinator device, the controller devices, and the operation-enacting devices, and (ii) transmit to the operation-enacting devices, via the wireless network, a roster identifying the controller devices and the operation-enacting devices paired to the wireless network. The controller devices are configured to transmit to the operation-enacting devices, via the wireless network, signals indicating input received by the input elements of the controller devices. The operation-enacting devices are configured to determine, based on the roster, how to enact the operations responsive to the signals received from the controller devices.

    摘要: Bicycle component motion control begins when a motorized bicycle component is commanded to shift or actuate. The bicycle component motion control compares parameters of a component of the bicycle to be moved, to predetermined thresholds to provide safe shifting or actuation. The shift or actuation starts only when the battery voltage and the battery temperature are within predetermined acceptable ranges, respectively. Once the shift or actuation has started, the shift or actuation is aborted if the battery voltage remains below a predetermined low voltage threshold for a predetermined amount of time. If the shift or actuation is aborted when the component is in a position, in which the bicycle may not operate at a particular level or is inoperable, the shift or actuation command is modified to move the component to a previous position or an intermediate position.

The first controller is configured to generate and transmit, from the first controller to a second controller of the bicycle, messages for a predetermined time period at a first transmission rate in response to activation of the actuator. The first controller is further configured to, after the predetermined period of time, generate and transmit, from the first controller to the second controller, one or more messages at a second transmission rate until the actuator is deactivated. The first transmission rate is greater than the second transmission rate, and each of the messages includes data identifying the activation of the actuator.

    摘要: A system for a bicycle includes a plurality of controller devices. A type of controller device is the same for two or more controller devices of the plurality of controller devices. The system includes a pairing coordinator device configured to receive a respective device type identification from each controller device, and identify the type of controller device for the two or more controller devices based on the received device type identifications for the two or more controller devices. Based on the identification of the type of controller device, the pairing coordinator device is configured to update the device type identifications for the two or more controller devices, respectively, such that the updated device type identifications are different than each other. The pairing coordinator device is configured to pair only controller devices of the plurality of controller devices having different respective device type identifications with the pairing coordinator device.
