    Abstract: Implementations generally relate to adapting interactions with a television user. In some implementations, a method includes interacting with a user based on a first behavior pattern, wherein the first behavior pattern includes one or more predetermined behaviors. The method further includes observing one or more responses from the user, wherein the one or more responses are responsive to the one or more predetermined behaviors. The method further includes modifying at least one of the predetermined behaviors, wherein the modifying of the results in at least one modified behavior. The method further includes observing at least one change in one or more of the responses, wherein the at least one change is responsive to the at least one modified behavior. The method further includes interacting with the user based on a second behavior pattern, wherein the second behavior pattern includes one or more of the predetermined behaviors and the modified behavior.

    Abstract: A head-mounted device (HMD) that includes at least one speaker, at least one audio capturing device and circuitry is provided. The circuitry receives, via the at least one audio capturing device, a user input that corresponds to an audio input. The circuitry further determines a first location of a source of the received audio input, based on the received audio input. The circuitry further determines that the received audio input is enunciated from a wearer of the HMD in a worn state of the HMD, based on the determined first location of the source of the received audio input. The circuitry further controls at least a function of the HMD, based on the determination that the received audio input is enunciated from the wearer.

    Abstract: An entertainment system includes an audio transmission device, for example a digital television. configured to provide audio signals over multiple channels. The entertainment system also includes an audio receiving device, for example over-the-ear or wireless headphones, configured to receive signals from the audio transmission device. The audio receiving device includes a sensor. When the sensor is in a first position the audio receiving device receives the signals from the audio transmission device. Correspondingly, when the sensor is in a second position, the audio receiving device does not receive the signals from the audio transmission device.
