The production method of the photocatalyst transfer film includes applying a photocatalyst coating liquid to a base film; and performing drying. The photocatalyst coating liquid contains a titanium oxide particle-containing photocatalyst, antimicrobial metal-containing alloy particles, a silicon compound, a surfactant and an aqueous dispersion medium.

The core/shell type particles have a diameter D50 of 5-50 nm. Provided is a titanium oxide composition that has a high capability to decompose odor-causing substances, is less likely to cause re-emission of an odor-causing substance(s) due to adsorption of water, and exhibits an excellent particle dispersion stability. The titanium oxide composition contains titanium oxide particles, a component A and a component B. The component A is at least one kind selected from a group of sepiolite and attapulgite, and the component B is at least one kind selected from a group of high silica zeolite and hydrophobic silica. A mass ratio of the component A to the titanium oxide particles is 0.75 to 3.25, and a mass ratio of the component B to the component A is 0.25 to 3.0. A photocatalyst laminate which is composed of an undercoat layer provided on a substrate and a photocatalyst layer laminated on the surface of the undercoat layer. The undercoat layer contains (A) 100 parts by mass of a resin component and (B) 0.1-50 parts by mass of fine core-shell particles, each of which has a core that is formed of a fine tetragonal titanium oxide solid solution particle wherein tin and manganese are solid-solved and a shell that is formed from silicon oxide on the outside of the core. This photocatalyst laminate is not susceptible to decrease in the photocatalyst function even under outdoor exposure for a long period of time, and is thus capable of providing a coated article that exhibits excellent weather resistance.
